Martin is absolutely brilliant and we are so glad that we found him. He’s a genuine, relatable and incredibly reliable guy. He’s been walking our rescue dog Bailey for a month now and we have already seen a difference. Martin has such a calm manner and he is filled with such patient optimism - he has been a perfect remedy for our little nervous guy. We can’t recommend him highly enough!

COVID-19 with regards to Pet Safety.

This is just some basic information with regards to COVID-19 and the requirement/advice with regards to you and your pet safety until further notice. I am considering each individual situation and how to safeguard the human at this particular time. In addition, when walking a shielded person’s dog, it is especially important to protect their already possibly compromised health.
I am continuing to walk my furry friends, but my pick-up and hand-over time may be a little slower if I am personally handing to a human and if this is the case and if at all possible, and if it is safe to do so, any handovers should be done outside.
Let’s be clear though, there remains no evidence that pets are implicated in the transmission of Coronavirus to people and infection of the pet is unlikely, but that there is some risk of the virus being carried by pets and their belongings via a surface such as a dog’s fur, collar and lead. So, on our return, your dog’s fur coat, including paws, lead/leash/harness will be wiped with a disposable pet-safe wipe or clean, damp cloth to reduce the risk of transmitting the virus to the owner.
Dogs from coronavirus infected or self-isolating households may still and will continue be walked but if doing so they may be walked after dogs from all other households. Dogs from different households may be walked together as long as dogs from infected or self-isolating households are not mixed with others from non-infected households.

Martin is totally reliable and trustworthy. There are very few people I would trust my dog with but Martin is fantastic. He's fair and reasonable, always punctual. The fact that he is both a canine and human paramedic is reassuring. I really could not recommend him higher.

It takes a lot for me to trust someone with our dog but I trust Martin implicitly. He’s reliable, punctual, caring and responsible. He’s a paramedic for humans and canines. So I just feel like he’s got it all covered. Could not recommend higher.

Martin has been amazing in his insights, into our nervous rescue dog Dolly.
He understood the causes of her anxious behaviour. At the same time, he showed
kindness and genuine interest in her. It was really informative to hear his observations
on how she was feeling. Since introducing his ideas into her life, she has started a much calmer behaviour pattern. We thoroughly recommend Martin.

Hello, my name is Martin and I would like to take care of your unique friend. This can either be by walking, longer walks to exercise, stimulate and/or tire your canine friend,
shorter walks for puppies, the more mature or the poorly/recovering patient. These can be repeated on a daily basis sharing the care throughout the day. This interaction will finish with hydration, feeding and medication if required and settled. My Doggie-Daddie service is bespoke in every way with no dog or situation the same and so, I am flexible and accommodating for every eventuality to suit your diary or requirements. For some dogs and their human, the fact that they are walked alone and being given some devoted time and is entirely the focus of attention appeals for a number of reasons. The dog may be less confident in a group, have specific fitness/energy levels or would just be thrilled and confident in knowing they are second to none. Having said all this, if your dog has a friend or relative that they would like to share their time with then that is ok too. Let me take care of your sick/injured friend on their road to recovery.
I have more than 19 years of experience as a Paramedic and some skills I have learnt are transferable to our fury friends. Having said this, I have had Accredited Professional Training and have experience in the medical field related to canines. My experience extends to Accidents and the Injured Pet, Health Assessment, CPR, Drowning, Choking, Bleeding and its control, Wounds and the aftercare, Medicine administration and Illnesses. Please. see my FB page for a full list of services and qualities.
