Dear CHeWs members

The temperature next week is expected to be 30 degrees. This is not safe for dogs and I have decided for everyone's wellbeing to cancel classes next week. I understand it may be cooler Wednesday but I'm not prepared to risk it.

We hope to re-open the following (1st/2nd/3rd June) week as usual depending on the weather. Those of you on the puppy course will have the class rolled over to include an extra week at the end of the course.

We are sorry to announce the loss of another CHeWs dog. Mitzy was a member of CHeWs several years ago and retired to watch over her human brother upon his birth. Our thoughts are with Hrisith Choksi and Aditi Bhalla as well as little Shiven.

We are sorry to announce loss of another CHeWs dog. Yesterday Jeffrey Bassett was put to sleep. Jeffrey came to us as a very damaged rescue with severe issues caused by previous owners and terrible advice from so called dog trainers (none local I'm proud to say) Ian Rettie and Christine worked so hard with Jeffrey and showed a dedication that few people possess that resulted in Jeffrey passing Bronze, Silver and Gold when we thought it would be impossible at first. Our thoughts are with his family.

We are sorry to announce that Snowy, a past CHeWs dog member, was put to sleep recently. He was a sweet dog who brought a smile to the faces of everyone he met. Although he retired from CHeWs several years ago, he will be remembered with affection. Our thoughts are with his owners

We need your help everyone. Moose, the rescue who attends our Tuesday 8.30 class went missing while in the care of his dog sitter on Monday night. If anyone spots him, please call the number on the dog lost poster or call me. Thank you.
