With soaring temperatures already experienced by almost the whole country this week everyone has had to think about how to keep their horses and ponies (and dogs/people and everyone else too) cool and comfortable as the temperature has risen to near 30 degrees 🥵
How have you dealt with keeping your equines cool? How have you planned for the upcoming competition this weekend and have you planned how you’re going to work around competing in soaring temperatures, possibly lack of shade 🌳 or lack or water resources for sufficient cooling post competition? Do you know how much water 💦 and/or ice 🧊 you require to cool your horse completely after competition? Heat stoke is a REAL danger, and can be fatal ☠️
