🐾 Hi everyone! 🐾

Just a little update from me — I’ve taken a short break from social media recently, but I’m still here and continuing to offer at-home vet nurse visits for my existing clients. 💛

As we head into the 6 weeks school holidays, I’ll be offering reduced services so I can spend some much-needed time with my child. 🧒☀️ Thank you for your understanding and continued support — it means the world!

✨ Please note: I’m not taking on any new clients at the moment so I can focus on providing the best care to those already in my books.

Thank you all for keeping me so busy!

If you’re a current client and need anything, feel free to message me directly as usual.

Wishing you and your furry friends a happy and safe summer! 🐶🐱🌿

🚨 Fly Strike in Rabbits – A Serious Warning 🚨

As the the weather heats up fly strike happens! It’s caused when flies lay eggs on a rabbit’s fur, and the larvae (maggots) invade their skin, causing severe pain and infections. It’s potentially life-threatening, but preventable!

💡 Prevention Tips:

Groom regularly to keep your rabbit clean, especially around the bottom (I can help with this😊)
Check daily for any signs of wetness or sores.
Address diarrhea quickly to avoid buildup.

If you’re unsure if your rabbit needs to see the vet, I can come check them for you! Don’t wait – early detection saves lives. 🐇💚

🌞🐾 Important Update – Hot Weather & Pet Safety 🐾🌞

Hey everyone! 👋
I’ve been super busy lately so I haven’t posted much 😅 but I wanted to quickly jump on and share something important!

This weekend and heading into next week, it’s going to be very hot! 🔥 Please keep a close eye on your pets in this weather — the heat can be really dangerous for them 🐶💛

🚫 Please avoid walking your dogs during the hottest parts of the day (especially midday). If you do need to walk them, aim for early mornings or late evenings when it’s cooler 🌅🌙

🐕💧 To keep your pets safe, I won’t be offering regular dog walking services this week, unless it's during those cooler hours.

Instead, I’ll be offering pop-in visits at a reduced price — making sure your pets are cool, comfortable, and well looked after indoors 🧊🐾

Thank you so much for understanding! 🥰 Let’s keep all our furry friends safe this week 💕🐾

It’s Tick Season! 🐾🌿

Have you checked your pet for ticks lately?

These tiny parasites feed on blood and can carry diseases that affect both animals and humans. They’re most active in the warmer months and are commonly found in woodlands, grassy areas, and parks.

If you find a tick on your pet, it’s important to remove it properly and promptly.
Leaving the head behind can lead to infection, so always take care—or ask a professional for help!

Don’t forget to check these areas regularly:
✔️ Behind and inside the ears
✔️ Groin area
✔️ Armpits

If you're ever unsure, I offer tick removal visits—just send me a message!💚

Let’s keep your pets happy, healthy, and tick-free this season! 🐶🩺
