Fantastic results at the weekend from the ponies at Balanced Horse Feeds!

Braveheart our homebred Welsh section B took 1st place in the mixed section A & B class, to then go on and become overall champion of the Welsh breed classes!

Next our stunning new forest pony Bert took 1st place is the M&M large breed in hand class and then took overall supreme champion of the day! 😍

We couldn't be more proud of our ponies results and overall behaviour!

A Huge Thank you to Our Handler Jamie Rashbrook who as always showed our boys off to their full potential and bringing home the winning results! ⭐

💊 Phenylbutazone (“bute”) is a controlled medication and mustn’t be in your horse’s system on competition day because it can impact performance.

⏱ It can stay detectable for around seven days, but this varies by horse. Always ask your vet for the correct withdrawal time, which should include the detection time plus a safety margin.

⚠️ Competing your horse while he’s under the influence of bute is not only against the rules, but it’s also a welfare risk.
