A huge congratulations to Jess Hughes who has been shortlisted for the Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards 2025 in the “Newcomer Award” category. Jess has been an integral part of the Emma Bishop Racing team for the past two and a half years, and we could not be more proud of her for this incredible accomplishment. We wish Jess the best of luck as she continues the judging process!

We’ve had a busy couple of weeks here, getting the season into full swing. It was great to see so many members of the Emma Bishop Racing Club Southwell to watch FORCE DE FRAP, who will look to continue what he started in his last run next time out. Speedy recovery to BALLYGELLY laid a strong foundation to build on when she made her debut over fences Lingfield Park Racecourse The surprise snowfall has meant that all of the horses have thoroughly enjoyed their time in the fields over the past few days.
