‼️Exciting news! ‼️
Mutt and Mongrel are proud to be offering a ‘foundational training course’ to help you and your dog build and maintain the four foundations you’ll need for a fantastic, full life together.

In this four week course we’ll go over the foundations that make all the difference -
👉 Using markers so your dog knows when they’ve nailed it
👉 Building motivation (because training should be fun!)
👉 Teaching a nice, relaxed loose lead walk
👉 Helping your dog learn to settle when it’s time to chill

This course will include weekly 1-2-1 sessions (up to two hours each), daily check ins, constant support and a weekly group sessions ran in public spaces so we can practice our new (or improved!) skills around other dogs in the real world!

Perfect if you’ve got a new puppy / rescue or just want to brush up on the fundamentals with your dog. 🐾

What an incredible year it has been! 🐾✨ We’ve loved meeting so many wonderful owners and their dogs, and it’s been a joy to watch the amazing progress you’ve all made together. Every walk has brought something new — from big breakthroughs in training to the little moments of teamwork that mean so much.

As we pause our training walks, we want to wish each of you the very best with your future adventures and training journeys with your dogs. 💛 Your dedication and hard work have been truly inspiring.

🚨☀️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION ☀️🚨

As the summer temperatures continue to rise, we want to take a moment to prioritize what matters to us the most: the health, safety, and happiness of your dogs.

With that in mind, please note that group walks will be cancelled on days when the temperature reaches 22°C or higher. Warmer weather can pose serious risks to dogs — including heat exhaustion and burnt paw pads — and their wellbeing is always our top priority!

We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we make decisions with your pets safety in mind.

Thank you for being part of the Tails on The Trail community. We look forward to hitting the trails with your pups again soon!
