Important Announcement

A year ago I made the decision to quit my job in engineering and pursue a passion for helping owners explore the great outdoors with their dogs. This year of getting to know amazing dogs and their wonderful owners has been amazing but unfortunately it has been a difficult year financially and ultimately unsustainable.

It has been a difficult decision to make and I will miss your dogs very much but this is the right decision for me.

Good news though! The training side of the business will continue to be a priority for Sophie and I and we have exciting things planned for this year. With more walks, bigger hikes, the introduction of settle sessions and weekend camps we will have loads more to offer those who need us most.

Next year we will be offering guided pack hikes in stunning, quiet locations with the same level of structure and guidance as our local training walks

There will also be campsite training opportunities to help dogs settle in strange environments

We are excited to announce our socialisation events.
Socialisation was the thing I struggled with the most when my pups were young. Everyone kept telling me I had to socialise them but didn't quite explain how to do it right. I was told socialisation doesn't mean meeting other dogs, no leash greetings, not too much play... so how do you do it!
These events are designed to encourage calm, neutral, positive exposure to dogs and people. To help dogs and owners make friends in the right way and group their social group. There will be expert advice and guidance on hand at all times.

ENRICHMENT SESSIONS... It's baking hot at the minute and just not suitable to walk dogs. But don't stress, there is another way. Walks are great for our dogs but they don't need to be walked everyday. They need engagement, mental stimulation and enrichment but taking them outside to run away isn't the only way to give them this.

My enrichment sessions are a great alternative to walks to tire dogs out mentally. Every dog is different so I take the time to work out what the dogs enjoy doing and work with them to have fun. I look into the genetic traits of each breed and start with exercises that play to those strengths then I mix in combinations of trick training, impulse control, play, scatter feeding, scent work and much more

If you are struggling because your dog isn't getting out for a walk all day and they are bouncing off the walls. Then get in contact to see if enrichment visits are for you. You don't have to be home when I come over and I will make sure they get time to use the bathroom, have fresh water and are safe when I leave.
