Beautiful day for a walk on the hills alongside some training. Not perfect but I'm proud of her 🥰 Her loose lead walking is coming along nicely.

We came across a large dog-reactive dog (muzzled, on lead and kept in control by owner) but I was proud of Ember for staying to heel on the opposite side of me as we walked past (I had already put her back on lead as spotted the dog up ahead)

Shadow's Heart Dog Walking Update:

We've been a little quiet of late so thought I'd post an update!

For now, the business side of things is on pause. Since Christmas, our clients have had changes in circumstance (moving house, redundancy etc) and one by one, we've said goodbye to the dogs we walked/visited.

Instead of filling the spaces, I've taken the opportunity to focus on home educating my children, training Ember (still using our ) and other important stuff.

I am not 100% sure if the business is sustainable given my goals and ambitions for the future or our current circumstances. However it is something I loved doing especially as having a dog myself, we are out for walks anyway!

After a week of the household battling one of many viruses doing the rounds, it was lovely to get out onto the common this morning. Just myself and Ember and blow the cobwebs away.
