Unicorn was joining the dots today, with the Carriage Dog Society training day…. Dalmatians were bred and trained to follow carriages, known for their stamina, train ability and natural guarding skills, they did a grand job of fending off urchins and bandits! A training day, teaching some of the dogs to follow without distraction, some for the first time.

Unicorn Equestrian Centre Mini Camps @ Unicorn 🦄🐴 Tuesday August 18th and Wednesday August 19th Aimed at children on or just off the lead rein. The days will include two mounted sessions, some fun and games, barrel vaulting and an introduction to carriage driving with Barney. Crafts, a stable for your pony and a picnic lunch for the rider. Promising Fun, Friendship, Confidence building and Resilience.

Sparkles 🦄had fun learning a bit about our ponies bones today! Funatomy, 51 vertebrae stones and a few too many twigs for ribs plus lots of intestines! 😵‍💫💀Did you know a pony’s tummy is the size of a rugby ball? Friendships, Fun a little bit of learning and of course lots of ponies to kiss! 🌈Sparkles after school fun at Unicorn 4 yrs to 8yrs

Sitting at my desk at unicorn and thinking about Sydney Smith and what an amazing Woman She really was. Her Energy and Zest for Life! Inquisitive, knowledgeable, impatient of processes standing in her way of a goal!!

I was reminded of a quote from her, that we should all try and live by..
" Laugh More, Gripe Less, Say Yes! Order Dessert, Love Life and Try to Live it for Yourself and anyone you can drag along with You!"
