Can your horse back up at liberty this well? There are so many ways you can use this. The value in this move is start getting a good back up from the front. The better the horse backs up the better suspension for everything else 🥳🥰

Here I am working on softness whilst asking for hind quarters yields and side ways..this is the horse first time and with obstacles. She did so well 😍

One of the hardest things to do is hang in there for long enough when teaching our horse to read our intention. As you will see with this horse, she thinks everything means go…so I just continue until I see a change and she asks a question. How long would this take you to achieve with your horse?

Here is a short video of confidence building with a flag…the purpose of this is to build confidence with moving objects. How would your horse respond to a piece of flapping plastic out on a hack? Do the ground work first to build the trust and confidence, then transfer that to ridden work. Can you do this with your horse?
