Enter as a team of three and take on one of our classes:
🟡 Class 2 — Teams | Poles to 40/50cm
🔴 Class 3 — Teams | 60/70cm

📋 HOW TO ENTER YOUR TEAM:

Teams are made up of 3 riders
One person books on behalf of the whole team
When booking please include the full name of every team member
The price covers all three riders — it's up to your team to arrange payment between yourselves

All team members must have ridden with us before to be eligible to enter.

Feel free to add your preferred horse or pony when booking and we will always do our very best to accommodate !

We would love to see as many of you as possible come along and be part of this special evening — whether you're competing, supporting, or just soaking up the atmosphere! 🐴✨

Meet the horses! 🦄

Say hello to Timmy! 🐴
He has been part of the MA Equestrian family for nearly 3 years and honestly, we couldn't imagine the yard without him.
He is one of our cheekiest ponies and also makes us laugh with his funny personality. He likes holding things in his mouth such as his head collar, bridle and even a short crop while in the arena.

🐴💛 Every Year, a New Cause — and You Make It Possible!

As we celebrate the incredible £1,729 raised for Riders Minds at this year's MA's Greatest Show, we thought it was the perfect moment to look back at just how much this amazing community has raised over the years...

💙 Blue Cross — £697.49 🩷 Wear It Pink — £1,223 💛 Riders Minds — £1,729

That's a grand total of 🎉 £3,649.49 🎉 raised for charity through the generosity, hard work and big hearts of everyone who has ever come along, volunteered, baked a cake, painted a pebble or simply cheered us on!

Every single year we choose a new charity — because there are so many wonderful causes out there and so many ways this community can make a difference. 🌟

We can't wait to announce next year's charity — and if this year is anything to go by, we are going to smash it! 💪

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being the most wonderful, generous, kind community we could ever wish for. 🐴❤️

🎪✨ MA's Greatest Show — Thank You! ✨🎪

We are absolutely OVER THE MOON to announce that MA's Greatest Show raised a whopping £1,729 for Riders Minds 🎉🐴
For a small riding school, we couldn't be prouder — and it honestly wouldn't have been possible without so many incredible people giving up their time and energy to make the day happen.

A HUGE thank you to:

💛 Our amazing staff, friends and family who gave up their time — you know who you are and we are so grateful!
💛 Our wonderful BHS Silver Leadership group, Pony Stars and Silver Horse Explorers for helping to run the day so beautifully — you were stars, every single one of you ⭐
💛 Sherrie and her family — you were absolutely brilliant on the day, thank you so much for everything!
💛 Everyone who painted a pebble and donated cakes — you made the day so special 🎂🪨
💛Millers Yard Cafe for letting us use their undercover space to stay out of the sun ☀️

A special mention to Molly and Chiara for the incredible job of organising the horses and ponies and making sure every single ride was done by 11am — no mean feat but you absolutely smashed it! 🙌 The horses were sponged off and well-watered — happy ponies all round! 🐎💧

It was slightly warm… 30 degrees in May?! Unheard of! 🌞🥵 We'll take it though!

We will DEFINITELY be back next year, so keep the May Bank Holiday free!

👀 And watch this space — we've had so many requests for a mums and dads class, so we may just have something in the works… 😉

☀️ Sun is out and so are the flies! 🪰

As the warmer weather arrives so does one of the less glamorous parts of summer on the yard — the flies!
If your horse or pony is stomping, shaking their head or looking generally unimpressed this time of year, the flies are most likely the culprit. 😅
Here's how we keep our herd comfortable through the summer months: 🐴

☀️ Fly rugs — a good lightweight fly rug makes such a difference, protecting the body and sometimes the neck and face too without making them too hot.
🧴 Fly spray and fly gel — a yard must! We apply regularly especially around the face, legs and belly where flies tend to bother horses the most.
🛁 Citronella shampoo — our horses get regular baths with citronella shampoo which not only keeps them looking shiny but naturally helps deter the flies too. Double win!
😷 Fly masks — helps protect the eyes and face from flies and UV. For those who really struggle, fly masks can even be attached to the bridle for ridden work too! Our big boy Billy is a prime example — he absolutely hates the flies so he is usually covered head to toe with fly repellent, fly mask and fly rug 🐴 He's not embarrassed about it either!
🏠 Bringing in during the day — during peak fly and heat hours we bring ours in which gives them a proper break from it all.
🌿 Field management — removing droppings regularly from the field helps reduce fly breeding spots which makes a big difference over the season.

Flies are an unavoidable part of summer but with the right routine your horse can still feel comfortable in the sun! 🌞

💙 What an absolutely incredible day!

Today we hosted our Riders Minds charity day here at MA Equestrian and honestly we are still buzzing from it 🐴✨

We are absolutely blown away to share that so far we have raised over £1,250 for Riders Minds… and donations are still coming in! Every single penny goes towards supporting the mental health of riders and equestrians and we could not be prouder to support such an important cause 💙

We had a bake sale, a very popular sponge the instructor, and a jump for charity 🍰🧽🏇 Yes, we did get let down by the bouncy castle company at the last minute (we won't name any names! 😅) but honestly it didn't matter, it was too hot to be running round on a bouncy castle anyway. Everyone just got stuck in, made the best of it and the day was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. That really does say everything about this community 💛

The heat was something else today ☀️🥵 but we made sure to get all the ridden activities wrapped up before the peak heat of the day so the horses and riders were well looked after!

A huge heartfelt thank you to every single person who came along and showed their support today. And an extra special thank you to all of our incredible volunteers and helpers who gave up their time to make the day what it was. We could not do any of this without you 🙏💙

☀️ IMPORTANT UPDATE – MA's Greatest Show, Monday 26th May ☀️

With the heatwave on the way, we've made some tweaks to Monday's schedule to keep everyone comfortable!

🕘 Class 2 – now riding at 9am (was 11am)
🕙 Class 1 – riding as planned at 10am

We'll be doing our very best to get everyone jumped and done by 11am before the heat kicks in 🌡️

Please bring:

🧢 A cap or sun hat
🧴 Sun cream

We'll have cold drinks for sale on the day with ALL money going straight to our charity Riders Minds 💛

🍦 Don't forget the ice cream van will be there!
And our amazing Pony Stars and Leadership riders will be running their stalls – games, cakes and more! Come and support them, they've been working so hard 🐴⭐

We cannot wait to see you all – it's going to be a wonderful morning! 💛
