Community duties call today !

First a baby pigeon in nest with another egg and deceased adult - taken to a wildlife rescue for care.

And secondly Mr Frodo now reunited with his mum after she moved away from the area and left him in the care of someone who didn’t change the details on his chip. She drove a hour and half to pick him up and make sure he was safe ❤️

Well….. we made it home at 15:00pm after 14hrs battling the night closures on the M62, Fog in the valleys and on the way home if it wasn’t wagons, caravans, motorhomes or agricultural vehicles delaying me on the A roads we finally made the 538 mile precise round trip safely.

Everyone meet Roxy the Bengal Cat who was absolutely floorless in travelling and her new owners are over the moon.

Aren’t those markings beautiful 😻

Last minute preps before bath & bed. At 01:00am we’ll commence our 12 hour +, 530 mile round trip. I’ll be heading down to the South West tip of Wales to collect a Bengal Cat for its journey home back upto Holmfirth in Yorkshire.

1 Happy customer yesterday 🙏🏻. Just a little over 12hrs driving covering 560 mile there & back, we had these 2 5mth old chihuahua’s home with their parents after being through an ordeal with overseas transportation.

These were amazing to transport with regular welfare checks & fresh water throughout the 6hr journey home.

🚨 EMERGENCY PET COURIER 🚨

At 9am we embark on a 12+ hr round trip down to UK Border Control - Folkestone to collect 2 puppy’s what’s travelled in from Slovakia with an overseas pet transport company & been seized due to having NO PET TRANSPORT LICENSE.

We’ve come recommended from a previous customer whom we transported for before. The key is to have the correct license which we’ve provided in advance to the relevant authorities for the puppy’s to be released in the afternoon.

Be careful who you choose, ask all the relevant questions you have & ask for documentation if in doubt. All our paperwork & ID is carried at all times.

Our son Brad tragically lost his best friend, Dylan, in a car accident on 2nd July 💔

Today, Dani had the privilege of participating in a wonderful collaboration of pet professionals to provide Sandy with a heartfelt farewell!

A special thank you goes to Yaz at Yorkshire Pooches Therapies for organizing this morning's event, which unfolded so beautifully and ceremoniously—a true reflection of what every pet guardian desires for their cherished companions. And also for being Sandys second guardian over the past few months helping his dad to give him the best care possible.

Sandy & his dad Lee had the most beautiful photos captured by Heather Woodward Photography before everyone else arrived, this captured some magical moments that Sandys dad will treasure for life.

The vets from iris.vets were so caring and very invested in Sandy and his wellbeing, it was truly amazing to watch them work with him & a honour to meet them.

That’s then where Dani came in, Sandy was lovingly tucked up all safe & ready for his journey to Mill Cottage Pet Crematorium where Theresa & Paul are now taking care of his final part of his journey on Earth.

Today really was an honour to be a part of the pet industry ❤️
