✨ I need to tell you something ✨

I pride myself on being an honest gal, and it’s time I told you all something. Something I thought, nah will be reete I will resurface after a week so I don’t need to mention anything.

I went into hospital for planned surgery, to be met with a horrific and down right terrifying recovery. I’ll spare you the details, it was grim and I’ve never known pain like it.

I am however a MILLION miles from what I was, I’m mobile even if it’s a pootle in the garden. I’m slowly coming off heavy pain killers, which is lifting the brain fog.

Apart from now having a fresh lived experience of pain, I’m really having to listen to my body and just take it steady. By day 3 post op I was bored out of my tree and ordered a steam cleaner to do the windows, well one window because I was knackered.

I’m eternally grateful to my wonderful husband and best friends for looking after me and keeping my spirits up.

Also another thank you to my wonderful in clinic customers who have been absolute rockstars. Swapping appointments when my surgery date landed, the well wishes and doggy colouring books in the post.

Now why tell everyone this? Yano, it’s a weight off my shoulders. As the emails and DMs pile up I’m having to remind myself to rest and the admin can wait, my recovery can’t.

I’ll keep logging in intermittently, I’m busy planning and DESPERATE to get back to clinic!

💙 Signing Out 💙

This is my attempt at getting a group photo with my babies, I think it perfectly sums us all up 😂

Most of you will know I run a small zoo at home, and Nancy my beautiful Guinea Pig. Nancy passed at home in my arms on Sunday night, although my heart hurts immensely I’m thankful that we could all be with her till the end.

Nancy is a little pioneer of Guinea pigs using Photizo and is even published in a book on Photobiomodulation… the gal was always destined to be a star.

I will stop waffling now.

I do a big detox from my phone over the Christmas period, in fact I switch it off so I can recharge.

Ooo I LOVE diving into this branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine and it’s so easy to implement aspects of this into every part of your dog’s diet. As part of my qualification in Food Energetics, I had to make Hoof Soup. Imagine a boujee bone broth, energetically balanced and the dogs loved it!
