There are many reasons why you may be unable to walk your dog (work commitments, illness, disability etc.). Don't worry, I'm nearby and happy to help with your dog's exercise and socialisation needs when you aren't around or able to. PRICE
*Group walks (60 minutes) - afternoon sessions available.

*£10.00 extra for each additional dog from the same family

HOW IT WORKS? Free 'Meet and greet visit' - I will meet you and your pet(s) to get to know you and give your furry friend the chance to check me out! We will discuss your needs and if you wish to proceed will complete all necessary paperwork. I’m fully insured, have an access NI disclosure certificate and am pet first aid trained. SOME IMPORTANT STUFF
All dogs must be up to date with worming, flea/ tick treatment and vaccinations (evidence of this should be shown during our 'Meet and greet visit' by means of your Vet Record card). I also recommend that you have your dog vaccinated against Kennel Cough to help minimise the risk of catching it. Unfortunately, I cannot cater for dogs with an aggressive temperament. Farewell Bonnie Boo!
After 4+ years, the lovely Bonnie is moving to pastures new ☹️. We've had hundreds of walks together, and today was our last 😪. Bonnie is a really sociable girl who gets on with everyone, so I will miss her very much. Enjoy the next adventures in your new home.

Our Story

Pamela, the good dogwalker has a passion for dogs and their wellbeing. With five years experience as a dog walker and qualified in Dog Training and Behaviour, you can be assured your dog will be treated like my own.

the good dogwalker strives to put the needs of you and your dog first. We will discuss your dog walking and/ or dog behaviour requirements and put together a plan with the aim of making your life easier and your dog happy, healthy and well behaved. With 5* reviews you are assured your pet will be in safe hands. DOG WALKING SERVICES There are many reasons why you may be unable to walk your dog (work commitments, illness, disability etc.). Don’t worry, the good dogwalker is nearby and happy to help with your dogs exercise and socialisation needs when you aren’t around or able to.

Dogs walked together will be sociable and matched based on their personality with a maximum of four. The walks let the dogs have a good sniff and play with each other, leaving them tired and happy to rest when they get home.

The rate includes collection from your home (Carrickfergus town centre area), travel to the woods, the walk, drop off and towel dry, if necessary. OUR RATES £12.00 per hour (Group)

£15.00 per hour (Solo)

£10.00 per half hour (Solo)

(Discounts are available for additional dogs from the same household) NB. Rates may vary depending on location. DOG BEHAVIOUR

Bringing a dog into our lives is rewarding for both the dog and us. We all want to have the best possible relationship with them. Unfortunately, things don’t always go so smoothly! We can find ourselves getting frustrated and stressed with our dogs due to them exhibiting behaviours such as barking, pulling on the lead, separation anxiety, jumping on people etc.

Dogs are instinctive animals who weren’t born with an understanding of how to live in the human world. It is up to us to show our dogs that we are the ones who will look after them by building a relationship based on kindness, listening, respect and understanding.

If you are experiencing some of these problem behaviours with your dog, please get in touch and let the good dogwalker give you advice and guidance on how to get to the heart of why your dog is behaving badly and how you can change the behaviour in a way that makes sense to your dog.
