Yesterday we spent our day raising awareness of the Ant antics foundation. This happened at the great ant exhibition in Bristol. We focussed on our rufa conservation project and brought along 6 native species and some formicariums. For anyone who was interested in starting their very own ant colony. We got to speak to so many great people who donated or, supported us by purchasing some new additions to their homes. Any purchases/donations yesterday went straight to the foundation. With that being said, we are happy to announce we raised £657. This will become vital money that will be spent on the reintroduction of Formica rufa and the free colonies for schools. We would like to thank you for everyone’s support and look forward to future events like this!

Last slide: Rich was definitely not forced to wear the hat for the final 5 minutes for our personal enjoyment !

Fresh out of ANTCON and we’ve just been named Conservation Specialist of the Year 2025 by the Prestige Awards!

A huge thank you to everyone who nominated us, and of course to the judges for recognising the work we’re doing through The Ant Antics Foundation. From rewilding native ants to educating the next generation, this award means the world to our tiny team doing big things.
