**TACK CLEANING**
Do you love it or hate it?? An important part of keeping your bridle and bit in peak condition 🐎🐎
With so many great products around, it makes it difficult to choose whats best.
With these simple Do's and Don'ts...it'll make tack cleaning EASY ✨️✨️
✅️ Clean regularly and wipe after every ride.
✅️ Use luke warm water with leather soap and a soft cloth.
✅️ Clean around buckles and stitching with a soft toothbrush
✅️Apply a light coating of conditioner
IMPORTANT STEP.....Always allow to dry naturally.
❌ Don't ️soak leather (too much water dries leather out and can weaken stitching.
❌️ No house hold cleaning products
❌️ Don't dry near heaters and in the sun
❌️ Don't over condition.
FOR BITS
✅️ Wipe over after every use
✅️Soak in a diluted mix of warm water and/or antibacterial washing up liquid, vinegar, baking soda, even denture tablets!! 🦷🦷
✅️ Rinse well and dry thoroughly, checking for sharp spots, rust,
❌️ Avoid abrasive like steel wool or wire brushes
❌️ Avoid acidic cleaning products with plastic, rubber or sweet iron bits.
**TOP TIP**
Lubricate the joints of your bit with Olive or vegetable oil
