Before you ask anything of your horse, take a moment to check in with yourself.

How are you feeling as you step into the session?
Are you rushing, holding tension, distracted by the outside world?

Our horses feel all of it.

Groundwork isn’t just about what we do, it’s about how we show up. Taking a breath, softening, and becoming present allows our horses to relax, understand, and communicate clearly with us.

When we leave the outside noise behind, we create space for connection, clarity and trust ✨

Slow starts, meaningful moments, and learning together 🤍
Our Saturday began the best way… sleepy horses, soft mornings, and a quiet moment to just be before the day began.
We then moved into a beautiful paired coaching session led by Chantal, where two lovely clients explored confidence, boundaries and personal goals. Using grounding work with Lance, and leading exercises with Goose and Ronnie, it was all about connection, awareness and building trust in both themselves and the horses.
In the afternoon, our Equine Skills group with Ella focused on horse behaviour 🐴
We looked at how horses communicate through body language, then brought it to life with obstacle work - observing reactions, understanding their cues, and learning when to support and when to step back and let them process.
A full, rewarding day doing what we love ✨
We’re so excited for many more weekends like this

Soft moments life these 🤍
Ronnie enjoying a well-earned day off, soaking up the quiet, the birds, the stillness around him.

There’s something about being with them, in nature, that slows everything down… and reminds us to just be ✨

Meet Lance 🤍

Lance is a sensitive dressage horse with a big heart and a deep capacity to feel. He reminds us daily of the importance of slowing down, taking a breath, and giving ourselves (and our horses) time to process.

Lance thrives when things are calm, clear and considered. He teaches us that progress doesn’t come from rushing or pushing, but from listening, pausing and being present in the moment.

Working with Lance is a constant invitation to soften, regulate and meet each moment with curiosity rather than expectation. When we do, he offers honesty, connection and quiet brilliance.

A gentle reminder that sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is slow down and breathe together.

Equine Assisted Coaching helps you develop personal and professional skills through working with horses in a guided, non ridden setting. Horses are highly sensitive to human behaviour and emotions, which makes them powerful partners for insight and growth.

Working with our horses can support you to;
- gain deeper self awareness and emotional intelligence, helping you to recognise emotional patterns you may not notice in daily life
- build on your leadership and communication skills and learn to set and hold boundaries
- build confidence in your own choices and give you courage to take decisive action
- calm your nervous system and increase mindfulness and focus

Unlike traditional talking based coaching or therapy, equine assisted coaching is experiential, which means you feel and learn in the moment. This often leads to deeper and longer lasting change.

If you think coaching may be what you need to move you forward in 2026, we'd love to hear from you ✨

Listening to your horse often means noticing the small, subtle signs.
In this video, Lance is showing a little anxiety and stress. We had a new livery move in yesterday, which meant a change in routine - and for him, that was enough to cause some stress.
Instead of pushing on with a ridden session, we listened. Today became a groundwork day, giving him space to settle, process, and feel supported.
Horses communicate constantly through their behaviour, posture, and energy. When we slow down and respond to what they’re telling us, we build trust, confidence, and a stronger partnership.
Progress isn’t always about doing more - sometimes it’s about doing what’s right in that moment
