Seven years young today! 🥳💛
Happy Birthday to our much-loved Boxer boy, Lenny. He’s been coming to us for so long now that we can’t imagine the groups without him. He’s a big soft goofball who’s stolen all of our hearts. Here’s to many more years of fun and love, Lenny! 🐾🎂

I saw a dog in a prong collar 10 mins from my home today, they seem to be getting much more frequent.

I never knew what one was until about 4 years ago, even after being a military trainer.

I have seen quite a few recently.

I suppose it’s the internet’s reach.

And the quick fix aspect.

I went through an entire military dog training career without seeing a prong collar. I lived 45 years not knowing about them. I have never even touched one.

Why now are we seeing them on companion dogs?

How unskilled do companion dog trainers need to be to rely on these unnecessary things?

Why are these people getting clients?

Too many of you amazing people are hiding your light from the World!

Let’s be better at being brave and putting ourselves out there in our knowledge and our love for dogs!

Let’s pull together and be the best dog advocates we can be.

Let’s have a positive effect by being positive people.

I know so many of you gentle souls who are scared to shine!

Please don’t do that!

You are the difference!

Start now! Shine now!

Did you know that when dogs roll onto their backs like this, it’s often a sign they feel relaxed, happy and safe? 🐾💕 Some are asking for belly rubs, some are cooling down, and some (like this goofball!) are just showing off their best smile. Either way, we think it’s pretty adorable!
