Two weeks into Bronze and just look at Bodie and Finn's 'combined leave/stays'. Both pups leaving food in front of them just because Mum ASKED them to, even when Mum walks away.
Both these dogs (5 and 4 months old) had the huge advantage of going to a pup course where the dog was taught to WANT to follow cues. No disgusting slip leads, chokers (half or otherwise) or grot collars; just good training.
It genuinely disgusts me that there are still vile so-called trainers, without a day's education in dog behaviour, using tools like slip leads and grot collars, designed to create discomfort and pain to suppress unwanted behaviours, rather than learn how to train a dog ethically.
Both of these pups are going to be awesome.

Beautiful creatures, but to keep your dogs safe and don't allow them off lead on the Chase if you can't keep them next to you.
Adders are Beautiful shy creatures but are a danger to your dogs.

Happy Birthday to the best dog on the planet, my reason for getting up in the morning, demo dog extraordinaire, stooge dog for the reactive, qualified assistance dog and most of all, my best pal.
I love this dog more than life itself and wow, does she pay me back in bucketloads.
Just 4 years of age today and already played a pivotal role in the rehabilitation of 100's of dogs with behavioural issues, inspired countless owners by demonstrating what can be achieved with good quality and ethical training, and saved a huge amount of dogs from a life of abuse after dog owners have seen how happy May is to follow my instruction without me resorting to vile tools like slip leads and grot collars.
She has already improved countless lives........including mine.

Homework pics from a couple of our super Saturday Pup Class pups. Goose and our very own Joshene leaving treats off their paws just because, Munm asked them to, and even Josheen leaving her whole name spelt out in her favourie meet jerky treats.
Leave is an essential skill that could not only save their life, your prized possessions but insils self control that pups of this age so desperately need to navigate our world safely.
This a great class. Well done guys!

Obviousy there are no 1 - 1's or classes taking place today. We apreciate it is a pain but the dogs' welfare always comes first. We will keep everyone updated until it has cooled down and then we will contact everyone to rearrange their sessions and missed classes.
Also, we are not going to patronise anyone by saying keep your dogs in; everyone knows they should. However, if you are selfish enough to take your dog out in this heat (and I have seen plenty), I hope you get sunburn, sun stroke and sun sickness as karma for being such a dick head and risking the health and life of your dog unnecessarily.

And so we sadly come to the end of another pup course.
I have so loved working with these guys and their awesome pups.
It is always awesome to see how well the pups progress with real life genuine training; none of the outdated abusive methods like using slip leads, half chokers and grot collars...yes, we still have vile 'so called' dog trainers in this area without animal behaviour qualifications strangling dogs for unwanted behaviours because they do not know how to train the wanted ones)
Some seriously good dogs in this class.

There are some handlers that join our classes that we know are going to absolutely smash all we teach them. Both of these dogs have excelled so much over the last two months, they have even blown me away.
Monty and little Olive have both gone from zero to perfect stays, sits, down, stands, walking on a loose lead plus loads, loads more in no time at all.
Be so proud guys, you have been amazing!
