I have a completely mobile set of equipment which I can bring to your yard if you fancy giving the Trec obstacles a go. Trec is growing in popularity, most people have heard of it,but are not sure what it is. It is a fabulous way to have some fun wit
h your horse and your friends. It is not as formal as some of the other equine disciplines, but there is just as much co-operation involved. It is a fabulous way of showing your horse new things and strengthening the bond between you. During my sessions we learn about the sport of Trec and learn about 2 of the competition phases - The Control of Paces and the PTV Obstacle phase. We practise in a relaxed and informal way and you will learn how to get the best out of each obstacle. I also teach you how the marking works in a competition. Trec is unique in that, you the rider, choose at which pace you wish to attempt some of the obstacles. Some of the obstacles are ridden, others are led so there is huge variety in what you are asking your horse to do. It enhances trust and co-operation both in the saddle and on the ground. SO WHY NOT GIVE IT A TRY!
