We are back for 2026 with our girls as they pick up there laying rate, for the summer.

We now have eggs from our free range Chickens, at £1.30 for ½ dozen.

And for the first time with us, our Ducks have begun laying so we may have some available, at £2 for ½ dozen.

DUCK UPDATE

these lovely ex-comercial girls came to us through the same rescue as our Hens do.
The information we were given is that these ladies were Barn kept. They have never been on a pond, never even been outside of the barn until they were rescued.

They dont understand night and day, and are fearful of everything.

But as you can see they have fallen on the feet with a lovely out door inclosure theres also a very shallow pond - although they cant swim in it yet as there feathers dont have the oils in them that out door birds do so they would easily become waterlogged and they would drown...

They are slowly settling down and adapting to this new life...

We are giving them lots of time and space and when ready they can free range with the Hens
