The gorgeous Otie came in for her first groom today. She was so good with a bit of comfort from her owner she took even the bath and drying in her stride. Here are some action shots taken from today.

The gorgeous Dougal. He was such a good boy today. He is getting more and more used to the process with each visit as he is still less than a year old. Grooming is tiring especially when dogs are young or very old so he had some time to relax at the end of his groom.

Fantastic 30 min session with Harris the spaniel. He is a naturally nervous young boy but with the dedication of his owner to training him at home and consent grooming techniques he is smashing the grooming process.
I take it really slowly and allow him to move around the groom room whilst his owner stays and gives treats so he is happy to be brushed and scissor trimmed.
We will work on the desensitisation of bath and clippers next time!

Welcome sunny the cavalier King Charles spaniel. His owners requested a bespoke groom leaving his ears and gorgeous long tail not trimmed at all. He was such a super star for a naturally nervous boy.

Welcome to Dougal who at 15 weeks came in for his first puppy session. What a cutie I look forward to working with him and doing a full groom on him at the end of his puppy intro seasons

It's shedding season! ☀️

Give your hoover a break from the never ending hair balls and book your shedding dog in for a deshed appointment with a groomer!

Specialist shampoos and tools remove a huge amount of old undercoat during a grooming appointment, which leaves your furniture and clothing less hairy while your dog changes from the thick winter coat to something a little lighter for the warm summer season.

Welcome the very cute Dougal the 12 week old golden doodle who had a meet and greet session at his home where we managed to trim a tiny bit around his eyes . Looking forward to his first puppy session at the salon very soon x
