A Message to Our Rupert’s Mates Family
Evening everyone,
This isn’t an easy post to write, but I wanted to be open and honest with you all. Rupert’s Mates will be closing its doors at the end of April, with our final working day being the 17th of April.
Rupert’s Mates was created during one of the hardest times in my life. It came from grief, but it turned into something I could never have imagined. It gave me purpose, helped me face some dark days, and brought so many incredible people and dogs into our lives. For that, I’ll always be grateful.
Every walk, every visit, every wag of a tail has meant more than just work , it’s been a genuine honour to be trusted with your pets and to be part of your routines.
As life moves forward, I feel ready to take the next step and return to full-time employment, while continuing my cyber security degree. It’s the right time for me to be back around people in a different way and keep building for the future.
That said, this isn’t necessarily goodbye forever. We’re still looking at options for the Future of Ruperts Mates and would ask you stand with us at this time, and where possible, we may be able to continue to offer pet sitting especially as we are the familiar faces your pets already know and trust. I’ll keep you updated on this.
I also wanted to mention that we’ll be taking a small amount of time off over Easter to get away for a few days with the kids, dates will be confirmed shortly.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for the support, the trust, the kind words, and for backing Rupert’s Mates from day one. You’ve all played a part in something that helped me more than I can put into words.
