Marvellous Milo 🧡

His owners contacted me for help with him as they had numerous trainers out and couldn’t get his pulling and dog reactivity under control.
Within the first session of working with him I showed the owners the tools they were using at the time was only making things worse. He is quite a nervous dog so his reactivity was coming from not having enough guidance from his owners.
We switched to a simple slip lead and showed him how staying next to you and engaged with you is far better than being anxious and reactive. When we showed Milo how to walk on a loose lead and engaging with us is better for him, he is turned into a far less anxious, less reactive, happy boy who you can now walk on a loose lead through a town full of dogs and people.

Dogs need to be shown how to follow you and look up to you for guidance and direction. As you can tell by Milo here, he is FAR happier knowing what to do and how to behave✨

After the session with his owners they wanted to keep on top of training as they were going away. So booked in a few training walks with me to keep on top of things.

We believe it’s important for all dogs to have an off switch and place training can really help your dog achieve this.

It can also be very helpful for your dog to know where to go when guests come into your home. Without rushing to the door and greeting them excitedly, place training can be a useful training aid to help reduce that excitement and not overwhelm your guests!
