I’ve had the joy of looking after these three handsome boys while their owner has been away on holiday.

Ginge, Theo & Bugzy have kept me entertained every single day – playful, curious and just the right amount of naughty! From chasing toys to demanding cuddles, they’ve made sure there was never a dull moment. 💕

Here are some safe and fun things you can do instead when temperatures soar:

☀️🐾 Keep Your Pets Safe in the Heat! 🐾☀️

With the temperatures rising, it’s so important to make sure our furry friends stay cool, comfortable, and safe during a heatwave.

Here are a few top tips to help keep your pets protected:

✅ Walk early or late – Avoid the midday sun and walk your dogs during the cooler hours of the morning or evening.
✅ Keep them hydrated – Always ensure fresh, cool water is available.
✅ Avoid hot pavements – If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!
✅ Never leave pets in cars – Even with windows open, temperatures can rise dangerously within minutes.
✅ Provide shade – Make sure they have access to a shaded area if outside, or keep them indoors during peak heat.
✅ Frozen treats & cooling mats – Great ways to keep them chilled and happy!

Remember: signs of heatstroke include excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, and vomiting. If you’re concerned, always contact your vet immediately. 🚨
