Happy Birthday to our favourite professional punchbag Ella “cough cough” …. I mean decoy! 🎂🐕🎈🎈🎈

Six years of faithfully volunteering to be bitten by dogs and dragged into my latest ridiculous schemes, patiently being dragged up and down the country as my emotional support staff. At this point, I’m not sure whether you’re incredibly dedicated or just spectacularly bad at making sensible decisions.

Against all the odds, we’ve managed six years without a single crossed word. That’s mainly because you’re too busy getting launched across the arena to argue with me.

Have an amazing birthday. Enjoy your day off from being abused 😂 normal service resumes Tuesday!

Rockie, a young, boisterous, reactive Rottweiler, has made incredible progress! 🐾 👏👏

Using e-collar training correctly and fairly, we were able to significantly reduce his reactivity and build reliable off lead freedom in public spaces. The result? Rockie now gets to enjoy the freedom he deserves, and his mum can finally relax and enjoy their walks together with confidence.

When owners are shown how to use this training aid properly, it can be truly life changing for both dog and handler. It’s not about punishment; it’s about clear communication, consistency, and creating a safer, happier life together.

Watching dogs like Rockie gain confidence and freedom is exactly why we do what we do. 💙

This kind of structured socialisation is vital for helping reactive dogs & owners become more confident, well-adjusted, and better equipped to handle various social situations, which minimises overwhelming experiences that can trigger reactive behavior. There will be 3 trainers on hand to help owners learn effective techniques to manage and support their dog’s behavior.
Booking is essential. £10 per dog and handler, cold drinks, cakes & treat bag courtesy of Top Dog Treat Box Co. are provided, the route is approximately 5-6 miles over easy ground on a flat surface (no hills or stiles).

Not every dog arrives ready to trust.

Zeke the German Shepherd came to us highly reactive to people. On day one, it took 15 minutes just to safely get a lead on him, and there were a few very tense moments. He pulled like a train and startled at everything around him.

Rather than forcing the issue, we let one of our confident dogs help show him that people weren’t something to fear. As his confidence grew, so did his trust.

By the end of the week, he was happily accepting human interaction and walking calmly on the lead. A great reminder that patience, structure, and the right canine role models can completely change a dog’s outlook. 🐾 💙

Deeks came to us for training to address his dog reactivity and to build better focus and confidence around other dogs. Throughout his training, he worked on engagement with his handler, impulse control, and remaining calm in challenging situations. Deeks made great progress, learning to make better choices and respond more reliably when around other dogs. With continued consistency and ongoing practice, he is well on his way to becoming a more relaxed and manageable chap, things like this are never “fixed” in a week but this gives him and his owners a good foundation and kick start his development, be happy gorgeous boy 💙🐾

You’ve probably noticed a lot of recent videos have the dogs in the pool, the majority of training sessions have taken place early in the day due to the heat, the sessions in the afternoons always end with cooling off in the pool so the dog isn’t overheating. 🌊😎
