All good things must come to an end! 🐕🥺

After an amazing year spent with your lovely dogs we are now stepping back from dog walking (for now) as we venture off into some exciting new challenges.

I will be starting University this month studying Bioveterinary Science keeping in line with my love for all things animals, and Grace has made the bold but brilliant choice to join the Navy where she will no doubt go on to do great things! 🎉

We have adored every second with all of your amazing dogs, each with their own personality, whether it was in the pouring rain covered head to toe with mud or beautiful scenic walks under blue skies, we wouldn’t have changed it for the world. 🌍

So we want to say a massive thank you and not goodbye, and we look forward to this new chapter in our lives and who knows we might have a Tail Of A Time at some point again in the future. 🤍🐾

Reflecting on last week’s adventures, we had Burgess, Peppa, and Maeve braving the wind and rain for a delightful walk! 🌧️🐾
Peppa looked especially pretty and, with impressive skill, managed to stay (relatively) clean. 💅Of course, she then claimed her rightful spot as the ultimate passenger princess because, let’s be honest, the front seat is the only acceptable option! 🐕🤍

Wrapping up the week with this fantastic crew! 🐾

We’re excited to welcome Charlie to Tail of a Time—he’ll officially join us for walks starting in February. Today, we also had the pleasure of hosting a special guest, Betsy, who brought such lovely energy to the group and looked oh-so-stylish in her winter coat! ❄️

Speaking of fashion, Charlie and Peppa were twinning in their matching coats—but shhh, don’t let Peppa know, or she might think Charlie’s cramping her style!💁‍♀️The group had a wonderful walk together, full of tail wags, fun, and fresh air—a perfect end to the week!🐕🤍

Big news today—Oscar joined Tail Of A Time for his very first walk, and he was an absolute star! ⭐️
This lovable Labrador charmed everyone with his playful energy, endless kisses, and all-around good vibes. He fit right in with the crew, who gave him a warm (and very noisy) welcome as we headed off for our morning adventure.☀️

With blue skies, frosty ground, and tails wagging all around, it was the perfect day to welcome Oscar to the pack. Can’t wait for more fun with this gentle giant!🐕🤍

What an eventful day!

The spaniels were out in full force this morning as we set off for our half-day walk around Dean Clough Reservoir. Little did we know, today’s word of the day would be ‘treacherous’—a word we heard from nearly everyone we passed!

Undeterred, we embraced the challenge and ventured onto trails that could only be described as a mix between an ice rink and a bog. Despite the slippery conditions, we found our stride and enjoyed the crisp winter air as we made our way around the reservoir.

But the adventure didn’t end there! Returning to the car, we discovered it had made a new friend… another car—right in the back of it! 🤦‍♀️ Thankfully, after some maneuvering (and a close call as it almost slid back into us), the damage was minimal, and we made it home safe and sound.

Every day really is a new adventure in this job, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! 🐕🤍

Checking In! ✅

Although today’s walks were cancelled, we couldn’t resist stopping by to check in on these two (mainly to ensure they hadn’t driven the decorator completely stir crazy! 🙈). After a short stroll, and a hearty dinner, with a well-deserved treat, they settled down in their beds… or so we thought. Naturally, Burgess decided the small bed was perfect for him, leaving Peppa to sprawl out like royalty in the queen-sized one! 👑

If walks are ever cancelled, don’t hesitate to request a check-in! While the roads were icy this morning, we waited until it was safe to make sure everyone was happy, fed, and wagging. Stay warm, everyone! 🐾🐕🤍

Notice: Walks Cancelled Today ❄️

After careful consideration, we’ve decided to cancel all walks today due to the extremely low temperatures. Based on expert advice, it’s unsafe for dogs to be outdoors for extended periods in this weather, and we want to prioritize their wellbeing above all else. Additionally, with icy roads, we’re also taking steps to ensure our own safety. ❄️

This morning, my trusty spaniel sidekick and I braved the cold for a quick assessment (bundled up in plenty of layers, of course). Let’s just say it’s freezing—so cold that we even spotted ducks walking on water! 🦆 We took it as a divine sign to keep cozy and warm today.

We’ll continue to monitor the weather and keep you updated as conditions change throughout the week. Thank you so much for your understanding, and stay safe out there!

Braving the cold with The Pack today! ❄️

As we gear up for a chilly week ahead, we kicked things off in style with Nelson, Burgess, and Peppa enjoying the frosty outdoors! 🐾✨

Nelson and Peppa were the picture of winter fashion in their cozy coats, while Burgess decided to embrace his natural charm in his birthday suit—because he simply doesn't give a floof about the cold! 🐕❄️

They had an absolute blast bounding through snowy fields and exploring the icy woods, tails wagging and spirits high. 🌲⛄

We’ll be wrapping up warm and ready to tackle the rest of the week because a little frosty air is no match for us and our adventurous crew. Stay warm, everyone! 🔥🐾
