Please give a warm KCS welcome to Pokie and Rocky! 💚

These two gorgeous cats have been keeping a close eye on me during my visits. Rocky, with those stunning amber eyes, is full of personality and always wants to know exactly what’s going on, while Pokie is a beautiful little observer who likes to take everything in from a safe distance!

One thing they both have in common is that they greet me at the door every single visit. 🐱💚

It’s been lovely getting to know them both and making sure they have plenty of fuss, fresh food, and company while their human is away.

🐾 Piglet’s first weekend with KCS Cat Sitting! 🐾

Although I’ve met Piglet before, this is the first time I’ve had the pleasure of caring for her while her owner is away. 💕

This gorgeous girl has settled straight into our routine and has enjoyed some playtime with her favourite dangly toy. Watching her do the classic cat bum wiggle before pouncing was absolutely adorable and gave me a good laugh! 😹

Piglet is full of character, loves attention on her own terms, and is always keen to be involved in whatever you’re doing. It’s lovely to see her confidence growing and to be building that trust with her.

🐾 Back with the gorgeous Rocky today! 🐾

Rocky enjoyed a good brush, and I carefully teased out some matted bits of leaves and tree debris from his beautiful coat, leaving him looking very handsome.

Unfortunately, all that hard work lasted about five minutes before he headed straight outside and rolled in more! 😂🤦‍♀️

☀️ Keeping your cats cool in the summer heat ☀️

I hope you’re all managing to stay cool in this hot weather - just like Duggee and Toffee are! 🐾

With temperatures rising, it’s important to make sure our feline friends stay safe and comfortable during the heatwave. Here are some simple tips to help keep your cats cool:

🐱 Check sheds, greenhouses and summerhouses before closing them - curious cats love warm cosy spots but can easily become trapped.

🚗 Never leave cats in cars, conservatories, caravans or outbuildings, even for a few minutes. Temperatures can rise dangerously fast.

💨 Keep air flowing through your home where safe to do so. Indoor cats may benefit from secure window locks that allow ventilation while keeping them safely indoors.

☀️ Cats with white or light-coloured fur can burn easily, especially on their ears and nose. Pet-safe sun cream can help protect sensitive areas - speak to your vet for advice.

💧 Always make sure fresh water and shady spots are available throughout the day.

🧊 Add ice cubes to water bowls or make frozen treats for extra cooling fun.

🛏️ Damp towels or wrapped ice packs can provide a lovely cool place to relax.

🪮 Regular grooming helps remove excess fur and keeps coats lighter during warmer weather.

Welcome to my new clients, Onchow & Luna 🐾🤍

Whilst their Dad is away with work, I’ve had the pleasure of keeping these two gorgeous cats company.

Luna is the sweetest little sofa companion who loves curling up next to you for cuddles and attention 🥹

Onchow on the other hand has fully embraced being treated like a baby… and honestly, who could say no to picking up that fluffy face for cuddles?! 😭😂

It’s always so lovely getting to know new cats and learning all of their little personalities and quirks. Safe to say these two have settled into my heart very quickly 🩷

Yesterday I was back with the very handsome Rocky 🤍🐾

This gorgeous Ragdoll came to investigate the newest little human in my life… and thankfully Wren received Rocky’s seal of approval in the form of gentle headbutts 🥹👶🏻

Rocky enjoyed lots of fuss, fresh food and proudly demonstrated just how well he now uses his cat flap! It was so lovely seeing how much he’s grown since my last visits too.

The biggest achievement? Rocky now goes to the toilet outside which means no more cat litter scattered across the floor every morning 😂👏🏻

It’s so lovely being back with all of my wonderful feline clients again 🩷

Back to cat sitting duties and who better to welcome me back than Bunny & Pickle 🩷🐾

Pickle was full of energy and had a brilliant time chasing the laser pen around the lounge whilst Bunny enjoyed one of his favourite little routines, after his twice daily insulin, a drink of water straight from the bath tap 🚿😂!

It’s so lovely being back doing what I love and spending time with these gorgeous boys again 🐱
