A huge welcome to Remi 🎉 Remi has joined us for social walks and has thoroughly enjoyed his first week. What a lovely boy with wonderful social skills. We can’t wait to take you on more adventures 😀

We were recently passed on details of Country Trails adventure Walks and arranged an introduction with Katherine and Laura. We have an 11 month old WCS, Remi, who has hit adolescents. We knew we would need a walker who was aware of the breed, and would work with us to continue our training journey with a spaniel.
An initial introduction was arranged in our home, and we discussed all things 'Remi' and planned in a trail walk. This would allow them to observe Remi outside and plan which groups he would fit best into, ensuring all dogs on the adventure could have fun. They also discussed the needs and personalities of the other dogs and planned the groups to satisfy the different drives and interests of the whole group. I found this very thoughtful and showed the experience and knowledge held, while also ensuring that all dogs have the best time in their care.
Following the trail walk, we discussed plans and that Remi would complete a transitional few walks to ensure he settled in with the groups, allowing room for adaptions if needed. This has been Remi's first week, and he has had the best time, and I would highly recommend Katherine and Laura to anyone and everyone who asks me.
He has been happy when I return home, and it is clear that the training areas we discussed have been implemented on walks as we have seen an improvement. This, for us, was paramount, so it did not undo any previous training or cause confusion for Remi. I am very pleased that we have found such passionate and friendly walkers whose love for dogs is clear. As a bonus, Remi has made lots of new friends 🐶🐾♥️
