A little, polite reminder to all of my lovely clients.

As many of you know, I’m a small business and I absolutely love pampering every dog that comes through my door. Your dogs are treated like my own while they’re in my care, and I always do my best to make sure they feel safe, loved and spoiled during their visit.

I just need to mention a couple of important housekeeping reminders to help the salon run smoothly for everyone.

🐶 No-Shows:
Missed appointments have a huge negative effect and recently I’ve experienced too many. Going forward, as mentioned in previous posts, a no-show fee will be requested. I completely understand that we are all human and mistakes can happen, but I also need to protect my business.

To help keep appointments fair for everyone, my policy stands as after two no-shows, I will have to remove future bookings from my diary. I truly appreciate your understanding and support as I continue to do my best to accommodate all clients fairly.

I currently have a long waiting list of clients hoping to get appointments, so missed slots really do make a difference.

⏰ Appointment Times:
Please try to arrive on time for both drop-offs and collections.

I can allow a 10-minute grace period for drop-offs, but anything later may need to be rescheduled as it can impact the rest of the day and other clients’ appointments.

For collections, please keep your phone nearby as I’ll send a message around 10 minutes before your dog is ready (more notice can be given if needed).

Prompt pick-ups really help us keep the salon calm and safe, especially as some dogs who visit cannot mix with others.

📅 Future Appointments:
For anyone waiting to hear from myself or Diane regarding future appointments for the year, we’ll be in touch this week.

If you ever need an appointment reminder, please don’t hesitate to message us.

Happy Easter Weekend 🐣🌸

Just a little bit of housekeeping and some updates for Cole & Kali Dog Grooming. There’s quite a bit of information, so please take a moment to read the full post. If you have any questions, feel free to message me directly.

Payments:
I currently accept bank transfers as a way of payment but unfortunately, I’ve recently had to chase a number of payments, which I really don’t like doing. If you’re paying by bank transfer, please could I kindly ask that payment is made on the same day as your dog’s appointment.

I am looking into introducing an online booking system that includes card payments. I’m still researching the best option, but this is something I’m hoping to bring in later this year.

Parking:
When dropping off & picking up your dog for their appointment please park in the drive. There have been a few occasions where neighbours haven’t been able to access their drives, and I want to make sure I’m being respectful and keeping things safe for everyone. Thank you for your understanding.

Price Increase:
I always do my best to keep my prices as affordable as possible because I genuinely love caring for your dogs and being part of their lives. To continue providing the high-quality products, care, and expertise you expect, there will be a small adjustment to my service prices.

A small increase of £2–£5 will come into effect from now to help me continue providing the best care.

I truly appreciate all of your continued support and loyalty — it really means so much.

Going forward, I’m looking forward to using this page more again to share photos of your lovely pups and spread a bit of cuteness. Kicking off with these adorable faces who have visited the salon recently.

I’m taking the Easter weekend off and will reply to all messages when I’m back to work next week.

Happy weekend everyone. I hope you all have some lovely plans and that this sunshine stays around for a while.

Cole and Kali are currently making themselves at home at granny & granda’s house - being spoilt for the weekend.

I wanted to pop on and say I’m currently behind on my messages. It’s been a really busy time, which I’m so grateful for, but it has meant admin has had to take a bit of a back seat.

Thank you for your patience while I catch up over the weekend, in between trying to enjoy a little bit of downtime. I will be in touch as soon as I can.

Jumping on the trend with my fur-babies 😂

I’ve been a bit quiet on here while juggling work & life. Cole is an angel and Kali is… well, an adolescent menace🙈.

Hello 2026!

Wishing everyone a very happy and healthy new year.

I want to say the biggest thank you to everyone who has supported me since starting up in 2025 and continues to do so, it truly means the world.

I’m taking a wee break for the next few days after a fabulous and busy festive season (excluding two days next week where appointments have already been arranged).

I’ll be back to grooming all your lovely doggos on my normal schedule from Monday 12th January.

I’ve now messaged everyone who requested 2026 appointments with some available dates. If you’re expecting to hear from me and haven’t yet, please don’t hesitate to give me a wee nudge.

Thank you again — I can’t wait to see what 2026 brings and I’m so excited to welcome back all my gorgeous pup clients🥰.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us so far — we truly appreciate it more than you know. We’ve been incredibly lucky to receive so many thoughtful gifts as well, and we’re so grateful for all the kindness shown to us - thank you.

I’m now taking a few days off to celebrate with family & friends, but I’ll be back between Christmas and New Year to keep your lovely pups looking their best 🐾

Groomas is in full swing and I’m absolutely loving pampering so many gorgeous pups this festive season!

However, I’ve recently had a high number of no-shows, and it’s starting to have a real impact on my business.

I completely understand that life gets busy, especially at this time of year, but if you can’t make your appointment, please just drop me a message. I always have doggies waiting to get in, and a quick message makes a huge difference.

We’re all human, and it’s easy to forget, so if you’re unsure of your date or time, just send a wee message and I’ll happily check for you.

A gentle reminder about cancellations and no-shows:
- No shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full appointment cost.
- Cancellations within 48 hours will be charged 50% of the appointment cost.
