Sorry it’s a long one 🤦‍♀️😬

Alot of you maybe a bit confused that I’ve sent alot of you a review request via WhatsApp.

I wasn’t intending to post anything about this as i feel that It opens myself up for more negativity, which has included threats and personal insults about my appearance and to be honest I was a little bit fearful of how / what it all might lead to.
So here is me being honest and hoping for you to be as supportive as you always have been! 🥰

Reason being that I recently had to turn off my Facebook reviews as i had quite a lot of fake / unfair ones, which was actually damaging my reputation and business.
There are still a few on google but a couple were removed and hopefully the more good ones I get, going forward, should mean they’ll drop down to the bottom of the list.
In all fairness, there were 2 valid ones that I had aimed to rectify but as I wasn’t given the chance before the damage was done, I know for a fact that I actually missed out on several new clients which inturn meant I also lost quite a bit of money. So the 2 clients have still remained unpaid. I feel terrible about this but I’m sure you’ll understand that I have been left with no choice.

It really knocked my confidence so I thought it best to not give the people any attention and airtime as it genuinely made me feel very insecure and low in mood.

So, I have now been trying to rebuild my reputation and fantastic / wonderful / genuine reviews.
I will be ever so grateful if any of you would be willing to spend just a couple of minutes to leave me a lovely review as you have done in the past.

You will be helping me so much. Not only to build my business back up but also help me to get my confidence back too!

Also, to anyone that feels like they’re supporting their family or friends by damaging /destroying a small business. PLEASE CONSIDER JUST HOW MUCH YOU ARE AFFECTING
THE BUSINESS AND THE MENTAL HEALTH OF THE PEOPLE WHO OWN / RUN IT.(person in my case).
We all need to live, pay bills and eat!

I genuinely am so sorry to those 2 clients but I have been left with no other options 😢😢

I hate to post negativity on here but I think myself and anyone else who has been affected / in a similar situation should be able to speak out!

This might be one of those marmite like posts

Yesterday on TikTok, I said we should probably anthropomorphise our dogs a little more.

Not because they are children.

They aren’t.
They’re dogs.

But, here’s what I think we get spectacularly wrong…

Somewhere along the way we’ve convinced ourselves that because dogs aren’t human, they shouldn’t be treated with the same empathy we naturally give to people.

A toddler screams because they’re overwhelmed?

We wonder what’s happened and start to tend to their needs.

A dog barks because they’re overwhelmed?
We only wonder how to stop it.

A child refuses to walk into a room because they’re frightened?
We slow things down and support them through.

A dog refuses?
We call them stubborn and drag them in 🫠

A child struggles to regulate their emotions?
We teach them.

A dog struggles?
We punish the behaviour that made us feel uncomfortable.

It’s fascinating when you think about it

The species changes…But, our expectations completely changed with it too.

No, your dog doesn’t need to be wrapped in cotton wool.

No, they don’t get a free pass to behave however they like.

Boundaries matter.
Training matters.
Accountability matters.

But, so does compassion.

Because behaviour is communication regardless of whether it comes from a two-year-old child or a two-year-old German Shepherd.

Maybe the biggest mistake we’ve made isn’t anthropomorphising dogs…

Maybe it’s forgetting that every nervous system, whether human or canine, is trying to answer the same question.

“Am I safe?”

Everything changes when you start there.

Right then… it’s time for the exciting news I told you about yesterday! 🤩🤩

I have been plotting for a little while and with the help of a few people, who kindly agreed to trial and honestly review my new idea. So HERE IT IS! 🤩🤩

I have put together a remote / WhatsApp puppy training course!

What this means for you:- the same training documents and videos that I use for my face to face training.

The ability to go at your own speed.

No need to be local.

The same support from me but over the phone or in messages.

No stress of having to create time for my visits each week.

I’m offering this at the introductory price of £20 per week for 6 weeks BUT if paid in full it will cost you just £100

This course will not only teach basic obedience que’s at home but also how to achieve loose lead walking and recall.

AND appropriate socialization skills too!

Any issues that inevitably crop up along the way can be worked on too!

I’m really excited about this and am looking for as much feedback as possible. I am very open to new, ideas and questions to ensure the continued growth and development for the course and my clients..
