Dearest amigos,
Yesterday, we had to say goodbye to our co-founder, Arthur, a month short of his 12th birthday. He was my best mate and greatest teacher.
At the start of our journey together, we were two halves of a whole idiot and what was labelled as dog training was merely us trying to muddle through and learn how to communicate. Turns out he was actually a lot smarter than me and taught me so much about about patience, understanding, resilience and how much joy there is in the small things in life: slow walks, mischief, naps in the sun and best of all, cheese. 🧀
He sparked a passion that turned into my career and I wouldn’t be where I am today without him. A part of him will always live on through Arthur’s Amigos - this little business that exists because of him🙂🧡💚he loved making friends (both human and canine) and now I get to help others build those connections too🐶
We are heartbroken to say goodbye, but most of all grateful: for every adventure, every cuddle, every laugh, every lesson, every shared Mr Whippy and every not-ideal spontaneous mud bath. I’ll take comfort in knowing he’s now reunited with Dad, his best mate and most generous snack donor.
It’s been a privilege to have had nearly 12 years of joy and shenanigans together. Thank you for everything, my big yellow dog 💛
