So had a real “first” for me today in the shape of this beautiful Japanese Chin, Matilda Lafferty ❤️

Don’t think I have ever seen this breed outside of the show ring and what an angel she was! 😍

At 2 years old this was Matilda’s first visit to the salon but she handled all the new experiences like a pro. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Well done little Matilda, I shall look forward to more grooming snuggles with you in the future. Xx Beautiful dog, beautiful breed❤️❤️❤️❤️

The very handsome Thatcher Hull demonstrating that a salon spa day really can turn back time!

This lovely chap is 9 years old but after a lovely bubble bath and a good cut, he looks so much younger ❤️

I think I might jump in the pod tub myself and see if it can work the same miracle on me! 😂😂😂😂

Taking pictures of dogs this colour is so difficult but, believe me when I say, the shine on his coat afterwards was amazing. 😍 😎

So well behaved as well! Thatcher, you lovely boy, I shall look forward to seeing you again soon n this time I’ll have a chicken sandwich to share with you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Just wanted to share one of todays special grooms with you all.

This is Lady Hudson. This beautiful girl sadly lost one of her front legs in an accident when she was younger. 😥😥 For the majority of her life though, Lady has coped really well with only one front leg.

Now 15 years old, Lady struggles with her mobility and would not cope with the standard grooming process, so together, she and I have developed a "work-around".

Lady just lays down ( and occasionally falls asleep) for the duration of her visit, whilst I go about doing my thing. I do one side, then roll her over and do the other🥰🥰 Not very conventional, but it works for us!😂😂

Is it a perfect groom? No, not even close, but the most important thing is that she's clean, tidy and has not been stressed out or pushed beyond her physical limitations.

Her welfare always comes first.❤️❤️❤️

Will add that, despite her health issues, she still has her Diva sass about her, she lives with two very large lurchers and she is most definitely The Boss! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
