The practice has expanded over the years and now has five branches. As well as providing a high quality first opinion practice for dogs cats and small furries we are home to a referral service, Rowe Referrals. We are always there to take care of your pet, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We understand the special relationship that people have with their animals, and we are committed to providing the

individual quality of care that you would expect. We offer a full range of professional healthcare services for your pet in a friendly environment and, whenever possible, with the member of staff of your choice. We offer the best Veterinary Service and value possible and try to make this available to you whenever it is needed. We have routine surgeries Monday to Friday (between 9am and 6.30pm) and Saturday mornings. We will endeavour to make an appointment with your preferred Veterinary surgeon and at a convenient time for you. The phone will always be personally answered by the on duty team. Tomorrow/Wednesday 11th June - Please note that our Wotton-under-Edge surgery will not have any electric/power supply between 11.30am - 2.30pm, during this time telephone calls will be diverted to Yate surgery. If you have an emergency and live locally you are welcome to still go to Wotton, however you may be sent on to another branch for treatment if needed. 🦔🦔 We often have hedgehogs as visitors! This male was rescued from a garden after he'd got himself all tangled up in goal posts netting.. We x-rayed his leg which was swollen, all was fine in the end and the little chap was sent onto a Hedgehog Rescue center 🦔🦔

Michelle is Rowe's Head Nurse at both Wotton-under-Edge and Winterbourne surgeries.

I started working for Rowe Vet group in May 2008 as a Student Veterinary Nurse at the Yate surgery. I completed my training and qualified in 2011. Since then, I have completed my ESVPS certificate in emergency and critical care and have worked my way up to be appointed Head Nurse of Wotton-under-Edge in 2019 and in 2024 also became Head Nurse at Winterbourne. After being in practice for a number of years, I have developed a keen interest in wounds, bandage care and nurse clinics. The best part of my job is that every day is different and you never know what's going to come through the door. I also enjoy watching the Students' progress with their training.

I have a 2 Jack Russell Terriers called Cappuccino and Tetley, a pony called Troy and a pet sheep called Pea, which keep me very busy when I'm not at work.

📣📣The month of May celebrated Veterinary Nursing Awareness Month, highlighting the important role that nurses play in animal welfare. We are exceptionally lucky to have such fabulous nursing teams at all of our branches, who achieve so much 24/7, i.e. preparing animals for procedures, assisting with surgeries, administering medications, conducting diagnostic tests, caring for our in-patients, carrying out nursing clinics and educating pet owners. Congratulations to them all 🥳❤️
