Hi everyone,
You're probably wondering why we've been so quiet on all social media platforms recently. We've had to re evaluate the direction of our business, although we loved working with the people at The Libertine, we decided that being chefs in that capacity wasn't for us. We missed the outdoor lifestyle, working along side other traders and being the face of our business.
However, we've got more sad news. Our unreliable Land Rover has finally packed in for good. This means we can't get the trailer to and from any events. This is a massive set back for us, as we are going to have to save up to buy another vehicle that is strong enough to tow 2.5tonnes. Unfortunately, these sorts of vehicles are never cheap and right now we don't have the finances to get ourselves another. So we've had to make the heart breaking decision to stop trading with the trailer for now, until we can afford a new one. We've held off posting this until now, because we've been trying to rack our brains to find ANY other solution.
Thank you to everyone that's supported us on this amazing journey so far. This isn't the end of Box Trot, we are taking a forced break (which we are feeling pretty rubbish about).
We can still cater for parties and are available for private dining without the trailer (unless you're happy to come pick it up!)
Lots of love
Amy & Richard
