Types of hamsters:
Syrain: also known as Teddy bear, golden hamster and panda hamster. They can grow between 5-7 inch, 120-200g. Only live on their own.
We currently have one called chance he is ready for adoption, contact page for more information.

Chinese hamster: they are long and thin can grow between 3-5 inch 30-45g. Only live on their own.

Russian Campbell's Dwarf hamsters: also known as the Russian Dwarf hamster. They can grow between 3-4 inch 30-50g. Love to live in pairs.
We currently have one up for adoption called vampire don't let the name scare you he needs an experienced owner and needs work with getting out of the cage once he is out he is lovable. Please contact page for more information.

Winter White Dwarf: they can grow between 3-4 inch 30-50g. Like being on their own.
We currently have 2 in the rescue getting ready, 1 who is ready to be adopted called Cookie, she is very friendly and loving and perfect for children, the over one is not ready just yet which is called Cream she needs a little work getting out the cage. Roborovski hamster: they can grow between 1-2 inch 20-25g. It is hard to find one that is tame.

Story time - chance - the Syrian hamster

I rescued this little boy because a family brought him from a pet shop and then didn’t want him because he squealed all the way home this was because he was in a box and was stressed and unhappy all he needed was a chance to settle hence the name we are unsure of his age but he’s a loving little boy he’s a bit unsure about being handled but each day he gets better he’s not a nibbler at all we are wearing gloves in this picture as it’s the first time we got him out and was unawares of what’s he’s like he’s very quick and interested in everything he just needs a loving home

Welcome cookie and cream to the rescue they are both females all though they are sisters they have been separated by the owner due to fighting these little girls need a loving home and were given to us due to the owners cat trying to get to them and stressing them out it was a hard decision for the owner but I have ensured her that they will find a loving home and will be very well looked after

Just seen some up dates on the now named dash he was the whole reason we started this it’s so heartwarming to see how well he is doing in his new home and how much his new owner loves him it was hard for me to let me go because I got him back to health and he was such a kind loving soul but the fact that he’s so loved and so happy makes this all worth it
