We are sharing this post STRICTLY on behalf of someone who is trying to help the current owner find a suitable home for this young English Bull Terrier.

Our rescue has NEVER met, assessed or had this dog in our care. We have no first-hand knowledge of her temperament, behaviour, history or suitability for a particular home.
We therefore cannot verify any of the information provided about this dog and accept absolutely NO responsibility for the dog, her behaviour, or anything that may happen following contact or rehoming. We are simply sharing the information to try to help the person currently seeking a suitable home for her.

💛 About the dog, according to the information provided to us:

This gorgeous English Bull Terrier has just turned 1 year old and reportedly has no current health issues.

She is described as being fun, house-trained, good on walks, and good with cats and other dogs. She is used to spending lots of time with her human and can reportedly be left independently around the house.

However, we have been told that she has a bite history, reportedly linked to inexperienced ownership/handling. We have also been told there may have been negative treatment from a male in the household, and that she may therefore be wary of men.

Because of this reported history, she is said to need an adult-only home with someone experienced with Bull Terriers/bully breeds, who fully understands the breed and is confident managing a dog with her reported history.

💔 We have been told she is at risk of being PTS if a suitable home cannot be found.

Let’s talk about the hard stuff (no judgement, just honesty) 👇

Before pregnancy and working in rescue, I never truly understood how someone could become so overstimulated and overwhelmed that they considered rehoming their dog.

Now that I’m pregnant myself, I finally understand the emotional exhaustion and guilt that can come with it.

Feeling too drained to walk them or engage with them the way you used to. Feeling touched out, overwhelmed, and triggered by something as small as a bark to the point you just crave silence or space.

It can be one of the loneliest feelings — because you love them so deeply, yet your nervous system feels completely overloaded at the same time.

Nobody talks about this side of life enough, and I want people to know they are not alone. 🤍

If you’re feeling like this, please don’t suffer in silence. There is support available, and reaching out early can make a huge difference.
Sometimes small changes can really help, like:

✅ Hiring a dog walker or asking a trusted friend or family member for help with walks

✅ Enrichment toys or scent games to mentally tire your dog out without extra pressure on you

✅ Shortening walks or adjusting routines temporarily instead of stopping completely

✅ Speaking to a trainer or behaviourist for support with manageable adjustments

✅ Asking local rescues or communities for short-term advice or support ideas

And if things ever reach a point where rehoming is being considered, there is no shame in that either. Sometimes, despite love and effort, it can be the kindest decision for both the dog and the owner’s wellbeing. What matters most is that the dog is safe, cared for, and understood.

If you’ve ever felt this way, you’re not alone — and you’re not failing your dog. You’re human, doing your best in a really overwhelming season.

WE ARE MOVING FALL 2026

We’re excited to share that we’ll be relocating to New Mexico in Fall 2026.

Over the coming months, we’ll be working toward obtaining nonprofit status, with the goal of officially opening our doors in 2027 once we’re fully settled.

Our commitment to every dog we’ve helped remains unchanged. Our rescue backup promise still stands—we will always be here to support. If circumstances ever change, we will step in to help and, in extreme cases, ensure any dog can safely come back to us.

We’re incredibly grateful for your continued support and look forward to this next chapter together.

Urgently need to know who these people are my daughter on a train this evening from Cambridge to Ipswich line witnessed the terrible condition of these dogs. She asked the lady why they were like that story changed from they were in police custody to ive only had they 2 weeks to shes going breed them. My daughter asked to buy them she said no shed spent a fortune on them. They were reactive to other dogs that went by but look close to death. Leah tried to call police but couldn't get through on her phone, offered money for the dogs too.

Image of lady not great but in tbe picture. We suspect shes ipswich or bury st edmunds but could be in dullingham, Stowmarket also could be getting a connecting train in these areas too. I need to know who she is so that police or rspca can save the dogs.
