Gossamyst is a small cattery situated in Devon, UK, breeding only Australian Mist cats. The breed was developed in Australia, over many years, from Burmese, Abyssinian and Domestic Tabbies especially for their superb temperament and to be indoor cats. They love people and other animals and have to be involved in all you do, often from a vantage point on your shoulder! Mists come in six gorgeous co
lours – lilac, blue, chocolate, warm brown, gold and peach – and are either marbled or spotted
Gossamyst kittens are ready to go to their new homes at around 13-15 weeks old and are neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, insured, registered, treated for fleas and worms and have been vet-checked several times. The new owner also receives a year's free membership to the Australian Mist Cat Society (www.australianmistcats.co.uk) and a lifetime of support by phone or email. I only have two or three litters a year so you may need to go on the waiting list if you would like a particular colour or pattern. I breed for quality, not quantity!! Some people feel that a young kitten may not fit in with their lifestyle and would prefer an older kitten, or a cat that has been retired from the breeding program. Again, get in touch as these are occasionally available. Much as I would like to keep all the cats I breed, it is not practical, and I feel they deserve a loving home where they will enjoy lots of extra cuddles.
