Big day for Rex 🖤

When I first started walking this little guy, other dogs felt really overwhelming for him. We’ve taken things slowly, worked at his pace, built confidence on walks, and today we hit a huge milestone — Rex greeted and played with another dog (aside from his auntie Sadie) for the very first time 🥹🐾

After that, something just clicked. The rest of the walk he was so much braver, happily going up to say hello to other dogs instead of hiding away from them or reacting in fear.

Just to be clear — I’m not a trainer or behaviourist, and I’d never claim to be. But sometimes consistency, patience, calm walks, and letting a dog build trust in their own time can make such a difference.

So proud of this little man today 🤎

Rex was in full explorer mode today — sniffing every corner, zooming ahead, and soaking up every bit of adventure 🌿🐶💨

Meanwhile, his Auntie Sadie stayed right by my side the whole walk, happy with gentle steps and plenty of reassurance 🥹🐾

Two very different walks, but two very lovely pups 💙

Little Rex, Big Day Out 💙🐾

Rex had his very first walk with me today — sunshine, gentle sniffs, and the sweetest little tail swishes as he took in the marina views.
He stayed close, checked in often, and soaked up every new sound and smell like the sweetest little sponge.
A perfect first chapter for this gorgeous boy’s walking journey.
