Big day for Rex 🖤
When I first started walking this little guy, other dogs felt really overwhelming for him. We’ve taken things slowly, worked at his pace, built confidence on walks, and today we hit a huge milestone — Rex greeted and played with another dog (aside from his auntie Sadie) for the very first time 🥹🐾
After that, something just clicked. The rest of the walk he was so much braver, happily going up to say hello to other dogs instead of hiding away from them or reacting in fear.
Just to be clear — I’m not a trainer or behaviourist, and I’d never claim to be. But sometimes consistency, patience, calm walks, and letting a dog build trust in their own time can make such a difference.
So proud of this little man today 🤎
