Free sussex rooster

LF red sussex. Unfortunately something got in and took his flock so for his own safety he needs to go ASAP.

He is a lively lad and never attacked anyone and was great with his girls.

Favorel, geese and brahma have started laying aswell so our season is well on the way.

Yay we eventually have brahma eggs, the POL girls I got months ago have just started laying.

Everyone is broody just now bar some muscovies and the red sussex so its about time we got some eggs lol

Odd way to spend a Monday morning (or is it still Sunday night?) Birthing chicks that are a week overdue but you can hear them chirping away inside the eggs. Hatched 3 so far tonight. All are doing well and having a well deserved nap.

Just proves you shouldn't fling them if they didn't hatch on due date. Especially if they have travelled (these are posted eggs from down south), I always keep mine in for a week extra just incase as I have had a couple of late hatchers, 2 waited until they were binned over a week late and Hatched in the bin 🙈🤣, thankfully it was last summer and bin was in the sun so it made a very odd but perfectly functional brooder for them until they were rescued (yes I raided the bin to retrieve them when I heard the bin chirping).

All sounds quiet in the hatchery now so I will let them sleep off their non normal entry into the world (these should be dark brahma so I can't wait to see what they turn out like 😍, first time ever hoping for a boy or 2 lol)

Welcome to our Rabbits Scotland page!

I strive to raise the best rabbits we can in type, health, temperament, and personality. We have Mini Lops, Netherland Dwarfs, Lionheads and Continental Giants.

We have had rabbits for many many years and learned NOT to buy from most pet stores if you want a true pure breed rabbit or want to know some of the history of the rabbit and its heritage and the size it will most likely grow to.

Our rabbits have a huge bespoke living area with plenty of exercise time in their play areas and sand burrows.
