Keeley Phillips celebrated her first year Caniversary with Let’s Go and Jodie Harper celebrated her birthday on the trails with the rest of the crew today in the SUNSHINE.

Weekend wins at Cardinham Half Marathon
The cars were packed with a wardrobe full of items as the weather was looking decidedly wet and cold and changeable! Dryrobes, extra layers, clean clothes for post-run, towels galore for wet and muddy dogs as well as hydration and fuel for the run itself.

An early start from Bude to meet for a pre-race photo before the Canicross event set off in 10 second staggered starts at 8 am.
This was the first Canicross event Hayley and Maggie had done together and the furthest Maria and Elsie had done together.

Alongside Hayley & Maria, we saw regulars Fred Michelle Jodie Jane Keeley and myself all setting off to take on this hilly half with our canine athletes.

Incredible running from all and as always a great event with fabulous marshalls and atmosphere from Purple Gecko Events

So proud of everyone who trains week in, week out to get their goals smashed.
Well done team and we even managed to find blue skies along the way too 👊🏻👊🏻

Another incredible morning on the trails courtesy of with a Canicross Half marathon incorporating 2,037 ft of elevation through the lovely woods at Cardinham. Felt really proud to be able to represent this sport with so many Let’s Go team members, who were all incredible & just the best cheerleaders.

Even those that couldn’t run were there cheering us on. A huge kiss & cuddle for my girl who started this all off for me. Love you Tils, you give so much when we are running together xx

Happy 68th Birthday to Jane Jackson who decided to spend the morning of her birthday in some wet, soggy trails with some of the crew!

Always a fun morning when 10 humans and 11 dogs end up navigating the trails of North Cornwall with the added bonus of having birthday cake after.

With better weather and lighter evenings on the way, Michelle at Mapowders is relaunching one-to-one dog training lessons. Specialising in gundog breeds, she is an experienced and approachable instructor based at Mapowders Secure Field. She has been an accomplished professional gundog handler for many years, gaining Field Trial and Working Test awards with her own Spaniels and has successfully adapted these skills and training methods to the pet gundog world. comes to you from Haldon Forest where 3 of the crew took on the "undulating" trails within the forest with their canine personal trainers yesterday. This was also the first Canicross event for Elinor and Mollie.

Keeley Phillips, Maria Ward and Elinor Tedds were running at the event hosted by Purple Gecko Events - always a great Canicross turnout with their events and the hill training around Bude came in handy yesterday by all accounts!!
