The Last Battle...🥺💔🐾

If it should be that I grow frail and weak
And pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then will you do what must be done,
For this — the last battle — can’t be won.
You will be sad I understand,
But don’t let grief then stay your hand,
For on this day, more than the rest,
Your love and friendship must stand the test.

We have had so many happy years,
You wouldn’t want me to suffer so.
When the time comes, please, let me go.
Take me to where to my needs they’ll tend,
Only, stay with me till the end
And hold me firm and speak to me
Until my eyes no longer see.

I know in time you will agree
It is a kindness you do to me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I have been saved.
Don’t grieve that it must be you
Who has to decide this thing to do;
We’ve been so close — we two — these years,
Don’t let your heart hold any tears.

It's important as an RVN to keep CPD up for developement of skills and learning new information and techniques...

Well stupid me signed up to the dental cpd by BVNA 🤣 failing to read properly that the 31st of July was not just the last time to sign up but also the dead line to complete it.

Well.4 modules and one final test and...all done 🤣

Stings and allergies!🐝

A lot of us have sometimes a stash of metacam, meloxicam, loxicom etc in the house if our pets have ever been sore..😔

Please DO NOT give this to any of your pet's out with its intended use especially if they have new allergies or have been stung without consulting your vet!! 🚨

The reason being....if you pet ends up swelling up like a balloon 🎈or takes another type of bad reaction your vet will most likely need to use steroids 💉

Metacam is a non-steroidal

Steroids + non-steroidals = not so great for your pet without having an expensive hospital stay!!🏥

If in doubt seek proper medical advice from your vet! 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️🩺🚑
