Wyatt came to see me for the first time!
He’s been with his new family for a couple weeks after adopting him from the Dogs Trust.
He’s a lovely boy. He’s previously been clipped shorter.
His humans enjoyed the fuller legs and his “wig” but his belly was vegetation Velcro!
We took his body short, kept his legs longer and are working on growing out his bib area.
Of course, the wig has to stay too! 🐾

Malakai came in for a simple bath.
He’s been struggling with having his feet groomed after getting something sticky in his paws.
His owner wants to build on making the salon a positive experience.
With a little bit of positive reinforcement training, I was able to have him accept me touching the scissors to his feet for a few seconds and he even allowed me to do a couple snips.
There is still a way to go, but his human has some homework to help desensitise him and is looking in to training a scratch board for his nails. Malakai is very quick to catch on and it would be a great alternative to having his nails clipped!
