A huge well done to this lovely young horse and their rider on winning their ODE event, such an exciting result and so well deserved. It’s been a pleasure watching them progress over the past year, and seeing hard work come together like this really does make it all worthwhile.

Yesterday we heading to for his second ever ODE, he was a total star, from start to finish - to take the WIN ! Finishing on his super dressage of 26.5 🥹🥇

What just happened, I have no idea! Nothing else to say apart from he’s just alittle legend, and the future with him is so exciting, I really feel like we’ve got a lovely partnership, and we really trust each other, ready for the next step up 🤫🤩🫶🏻

The 80cm class, sponsored by at our Team & Individual Show Jumping on 31st May 2026, is a qualifying class for the Junior Final at 2026 🎉

Last year, one of our members, Ruby, qualified at our event and went on to WIN the Junior Final at the 2025 Melplash Show on her beautiful pony, Easter 👏👏👏

For your chance to follow in Ruby’s footsteps, you need to enter the 80cm class* at our SJ event on 31 May and the combinations placing 1st and 2nd will go forward to ride in the 2026 Battens Junior Final - good luck! 🍀

*This class is a qualifying opportunity for the 2026 Junior Battens Final at the Melplash Show on 27th August 2026.
Rider eligibility is to not have reached 17th birthday by the date of the final. Open to ponies and horses, it is the rider and pony/horse combination which qualifies.
To qualify, a clear round must be achieved in the first round/first section. Those already qualified are disregarded for qualification purposes.
Horse/rider combinations placed 1st and 2nd will qualify.

Our breaking service is handled by experienced staff, giving young horses the best start, with use of quality facilities including a round pen and outdoor school.

We also offer tailored schooling and re-training, alongside our water treadmill for fitness and rehab.

Holiday livery available- your horse well cared for while you’re away.

Prices starting from £30 a day, with bespoke packages available.
