The Saints Sled Dog Rescue Annual Camp is BACK after a 2-year break and returns for the first May Bank Holiday weekend at a new, bigger venue with excellent facilities.

Join the Saints Sled Dog Rescue team, volunteers, supporters, and their dogs for a fun-filled community weekend featuring live professional talks, hands-on tutorials, a camp marketplace, quiz night, friendly competitions, group walks, and the much-loved SSDR Dog Show.

Join us in celebrating the 11th birthday of Saints Sled Dog Rescue! Our parent charity 🎉

Established after Athena's rescue back in 2013 after a 6 month old puppy found herself due to be PTS with no rescue support, SSDR remains committed to saving sled dogs, having rescued 1145 dogs and 1 cat to date - NO MATTER WHAT!

As we reflect on our journey, we're excited about the future and the upcoming SSDR rescue kennels project.

It will enable us to double, if not triple sled dog intakes annual, educate new owners and the younger generation through our 2024 educational program, and recruit volunteers to address the growing sled dog rehoming challenge in the UK.

Help us continue this vital work by joining our volunteer team and supporting our biggest project yet – the SSDR rescue kennels!!

Good bye to the tiny girl Acorn who spent the last week with us.

While her family were away she celebrated her 1st Birthday, the family were super upset to miss her special day so we made sure she didn't miss out 💙🥳
