⚡ When Are Electric Fence Warning Signs Required? ⚡
If you use electric fences for animals, please be aware, safety for others isn’t optional. Its up to us prevent any incidents!
Here’s when warning signs are a must:
If your fence runs along or crosses footpaths, bridleways, or other public rights of way.
Any fence that could be reached by passersby, visitors, or the general public.
Near schools, playgrounds, or public parks – prominent signage is essential.
✅ Signs must be clearly visible at every gate, crossing, and every 50m along the fence.
✅ Use a yellow triangle with a lightning bolt ⚡ and the text “Electric Fence.”
✅ Ensure signs are weather-resistant so they stay readable over time.
