I can't believe Fern is one today. She has taught me so much, especially about looking at the dog in front of you. Beyond just my stooge dog. The best girl, my best friend and adventure buddy. Here's to many more years of Miss Orange.

I have created a whatsapp group for group training, walks and announcements. There is also a chat to get to know eachother and ask any questions. Give us a shout if you would like to be added. 🧡 Group events are reactive dog friendly, but I ask if your dog is reactive for you to have had an assessment from myself or another trainer!

Behaviours that are reinforced sometimes are especially persistent (variable reinforcement schedules at work). Management reduces rehearsal and prevents self-reinforcement while alternative behaviours are being learned.

Although we've worked hard on recall, I'm using a long line more right now with a very social, adolescent Fern. Her interest in other dogs has increased, and management helps me protect our training while her brain catches up. This is normal, and it’s okay to lean on management. It’s not a failure of training. It is part of it!
