Meet beautiful baby Eric!
I had the pleasure of spending the day with this little cutie last week and what a star he is!⭐️
Even though he’s still a baby, Eric has already learnt so much thanks to his lovely owners!

We had such a fun day — playing in the garden, doing some training, using interactive feeders, and going for a lovely walk around the park 🌳🐾

Eric loves nothing more than lots of fuss and playtime! As he’s still growing, his owners are discovering more of his wonderful personality each day which is so much fun to see 🥰

I can’t wait to see this gorgeous boy again soon and learn even more about him! 🐶🩷

🦖 THE DINOSAUR IS AWAKE! 🦖

Meet Athena, my gorgeous Greek spur-thighed tortoise! 🐢✨ She’s been awake for a few weeks now, but she’s finally got enough energy to explore the garden again. 🌿☀️

Athena hibernated from the end of October until the end of February, and she loved every second of it. 😴 As the weather started warming up, she slowly began to stir—though she definitely took her time getting back to full energy! She’s now six years old, and since her species can live up to 150-200 years, she’s stuck with me for life. Lucky her! 😆

She might not get much bigger, but what she lacks in size, she makes up for in personality. 🤭 Athena is very cheeky—she loves sneaking up to bite my toes (or even my cat’s paws! 🐾) when I’m not looking. She’s also a master escape artist. No matter how secure I make her garden pen, she always finds a way out. And yes, tortoises are much faster than you’d think! So when she’s outside, I have to keep a very close eye on her. 👀

Athena lives in a spacious enclosure inside one of my sheds, with plenty of hiding spots and a deep substrate for burrowing. Since the UK isn’t exactly known for sunshine, she has special lamps to keep her warm and provide UV light. Her diet mainly consists of weeds and flowers, but she’s high-maintenance—many plants are toxic to tortoises, and Athena will eat anything she finds! So I have to be extra careful with what she munches on.

And don’t even get me started on preparing for hibernation… 🫣 That’s a whole other adventure I’ll share later in the year! 😵‍💫❄️

The past couple of weeks have been so busy! Though, judging by these photos, you wouldn’t think so! 😂

I had a wonderful few days looking after Johno, Chester, and Willow in the most stunning location. Can you tell they mostly slept? 🤣

We had plenty of walks each day—especially for Johno, who’s now 15! As much as he wants to keep up with the other two on long walks, his back legs aren’t as strong as they used to be. So, we always start with a mini walk just for him before heading out on a bigger one with Chester and Willow.

Can’t wait to see these three again soon! 🥰✨

Doggy Friends! How About Seven?

Patrick has been having a blast meeting new doggy friends, and we had an amazing run with him and seven other dogs! They had the best time running around and playing together.

You might recognise Chester, the Labrador—he joined Patrick for a few extra walks, and the two have now become great friends. 🥰

It’s always so lovely to watch dogs play and get along so well. ❤️✨

Meet Patrick!

I’ve been having the best time with Patrick recently! This has been my longest sit so far, and we’ve still got more to go. Patrick is a stunning fox terrier with endless energy—he’s certainly not easy to wear out!

We’ve been lucky with the weather, which means we’ve been able to enjoy some wonderful long walks (though my feet might disagree! 😂). Spending so much time together has helped us form a great bond, and I can really see his true personality shining through now. I feel like he trusts me completely.

Patrick loves to run, play, and, of course, have lots of cuddles. ☺️ He's a very quick walker but will always make sure to check I'm catching up with him!
We’re having the best time in the countryside, and he’s quickly become a new bestie! ✨

Meet Eric!

Eric is a gorgeous gentle giant, and I have the pleasure of walking him three times a week. He’s an absolute dream to walk, he never pulls but will gently nudge me to let me know when he’s not quite ready to finish his walk😂

As a rescue greyhound, we don’t know much about Eric’s past. He isn’t a big fan of other dogs and likes to make sure they know he’s there. His muzzle might look a little intimidating, but it helps keep everyone safe, and Eric actually loves wearing it! He knows it means walk time and will happily shove his nose straight in.🐾

Eric adores people and wants to give everyone as much love as possible. He’s always up for a good back scratch and some playtime.💚

At the moment, Eric has a poorly paw, so he gets to rock some very snazzy boots!

Seeing and walking Eric always makes my week. 💗

Another familiar face… it’s Molly! 🐾🐶

I’m absolutely loving seeing my clients’ pets regularly, it helps me build a strong bond with them, and I always look forward to spending time with Molly! We’ve had some lovely evenings together while her mum enjoys a night out✨

Building that bond has been so important for Molly, as it helps her feel more relaxed when her mum is away. Knowing I’m staying with her gives her peace of mind and reduces any anxiety… meaning she can snore as loudly as she likes while feeling completely safe! ❤️

Meet Theo & Tash! 🐾

This stunning pair are just wonderful. Both have such brilliant characters, and I had the best time looking after them!

Theo has an amazing social life, walking him in the park felt like being with a local celeb! ⭐ So many people know him, and he absolutely loves saying hello to everyone. If someone doesn’t acknowledge him, he lets out a little cry😢. He’s a proper chatterbox and even sings little songs (swipe to hear his morning serenade to me 🎶).

Tash is quiet at first, but once she comes out of her shell, she’s a live wire! ⚡ She could walk or run for days and never tire. She loves winding up Theo, constantly encouraging him to play with her. She’s also so stubborn and enjoys pushing her boundaries with new people😂. But wben it comes to cuddles, she’s straight there bagsying her spot on the sofa before Theo gets a chance!

These two are full of love and not shy about demanding attention, often boxing me with their paws to make sure they get it! 🥊💖 Looking after them was so much fun, and it’s clear how much their owners adore them too.

I cannot wait to see these two again! 🥰🐶🐾

Meet Super Sonny! 🌞

I had the pleasure of sitting this wonderful boy over the weekend! Sonny is a Cypriot rescue, and even though his start in life wasn’t the easiest, he’s grown into such a loving, well-behaved boy thanks to his amazing owners.💕

Sonny loves being by your side and getting plenty of scratches. He’s also got a favourite spot on the kitchen floor—just in case anything gets dropped! 👀 And when it comes to other dogs, he wants to be friends with every single one he meets.🐕🐕

Can’t wait to see Sonny again soon! ❤️🐾

Another recognizable pair? It’s Mora and Bagel! 🐕🐈✨

I absolutely adore these two and was lucky enough to sit them again recently. They keep me entertained all day with their playful antics, but they also love a good cuddle together. 🥰

Bagel is the cutest little menace, he’ll shower you with fuss one minute and launch a cheeky attack the next! 😂 He’s one of the most fun cats I’ve ever looked after. Mora never fails to bring me joy with her zoomies, happy dances, and the best cuddles. 💕

I can’t wait to see them again! 🐾

I had the pleasure of walking these boys again recently, and they are such a lovely pair to walk. They love to take their time sniffing everything, and Toby definitely isn’t shy about letting you know when he’s ready to go home—he stands his ground! 😂

Meet the beautiful Macy 🥹✨

Macy is a lovely girl who loves nothing more than long naps 💤, fuss 🥰, balls 🎾, and treats 🦴!

Macy is a dream to look after. I've had the pleasure of getting to know her over the past few months. She isn’t a fan of dogs and can sometimes be wary of new people, but we’ve taken time to build a bond from 1-hour sit-ins to short walks to now a full weekend sit! Macy has done brilliantly 🤩. She’s very willing to learn and train as she LOVES food 🍖.

Her owners are incredible and have put so much work into helping Macy feel comfortable on walks, respecting her boundaries, and adapting to her needs. Their dedication shows, and Macy is thriving!

Macy is the sleepiest spaniel I’ve ever met 😴🐶! She wasted no time jumping into bed as soon as she had the chance 🛏️. I can't wait to spend more time with her and see her continued progress around people and pups! 💕
