l Conservation at Petroc) and as a Dog owner myself, walking my Dogs is the highlight of my day. So I decided to create Tails 2 Trails and hopefully enrich the lives of other Dogs, giving them the opportunity to socialise and play in safe settings, in groups alongside other Dogs who are suitable playmates in terms of size and personality.

This mornings adventure walk was a lot of fun! 🐾🌲

It was the very definition of "Instagram vs Reality" as I was awake between 2am and 5:15am with worst case scenarios, logistics, risk assessments etc going through my head. So I've felt like a zombie this morning, but there's nothing quite like a bunch of happy dogs, a big forest walk and literally seeing just 1 other person during a 3.5 hour walk to make you feel better 😁

Now, I'm off for a nap 😴

And i managed to get away with having just two walks, meaning I'll have just enough energy to get around tomorrow mornings adventure walk 🌳🌲

Rita, Norman, Digger and Ducky burnt off some excess energy in the fields, and as its Friday i even treated them to some ball throwing (a very rare treat!) 🥎

Bella, Alvin, Nora, Pip & Teddy went for a woodland stroll, going off the beaten path in Fremington. A really nice sociable group 😍 so I got to experience my favourite part of the job, where dogs of different breeds all come together and just have the best time 😁🌲

My feet have been sodden since 8:30am 😮‍💨 bring back the heatwaves!! (I jest).
This mornings weather didn't dampen any spirits though as Oakley and Jude tore up the fields, and Teddy and Murray got out of their way (unless Teddy needed to lay down the law with the younguns).

Lilly, Coco, Digger and Frieda found that there was no beach, so had to walk the thin strip between the beach and burrows instead. Although as long as theres a ball being passed between the 3 of them (Lilly wasn't bothered about it) they are quite happy.

Amber, Bella, and Alvin got a treat when Freddie rejoined us after a couple of months off 🙌 it was like he'd never been away, immediately chasing Bella, splashing about in the sea and rolling in p**p 🙄 (he was then made to splash around in the sea again before being allowed in the van). Amber wasnt much better with the rolling 🤦‍♂️ thank goodness for Alvin and , i'd never thought I'd say it, Bella 😂

Oops, i got trigger happy again 🤦‍♂️ mainly due to my 2nd walk being off the scale with play!

Norman, Rita and Murray were joined by my own 3 miscriants this morning in the drizzle, before Bow, Freddy, Molly, Frieda & Enzo formed some real friendships down the burrows. Basically, Enzo fell madly in love with Frieda. Frieda loved being chased, and Molly loved chasing them both. Freddy got involved from a distance but was easily distracted by Sanderlings on the shoreline, and there wasn't quite enough sea time in the game of chase for him. And Bow got tired out and decided to dig a few holes instead.
I then bumped into Lisa at Pooch Mooches, and decided to show Bow how bad it could be 😬😬

Nora, Bella, Percy, Darcy and Teddy then went for a woodland walk to try and dodge the worst of the rain. We all failed dismally.

Just the two walks this Bank Holiday Monday. Im not sure how, but I managed to dodge the worst of the rain too 🙌
Digger, Murray, Alvin, Freddy & Teddy went for a run in the fields behind ARC, before i stole Freddy for a second walk as he joined my dogs, Percy and Bella for a run through the trees at Griggs Field.

This week has been a whole load of fun! A slight blip on a personal note, realising that the legalities of selling Dog treats are much stricter than i expected- and now having to try and return as much equipment as possible 🤦‍♂️
The ingredients however, can't be returned. So I'm still going to be spending my day tomorrow making a whole load of treats 😮‍💨 what a tool.
