We have a very poorly Frasier this week π’. He has severe case of gastroenteritis. This is most likely been picked up from the Foxes urine and π© from the garden or even street walks. The vets has advised that we make sure we wipe down paws after each walk/
Garden visit, as it only takes them to tread in it and then lick their paws. With this in mind we will make sure all dogs paws are wipe clean after each walk. I've never seen my baby so poorly, it's been absolutely heartbreaking π and exhausting to go through. Frasier has needed to go outside literally every hour, day and night. Not eating and hardly drinking. He is slowly turning the corner, but definitely not out of the woods π
I would hate for any of our babies to go through this. So please bear in mind the cleaning of the paws πΎ π₯°π₯°
FRASIER UPDATE:
Frasier was back to the vets today. While he is gradually starting to eat and is now drinking. His diarrhea is not improving at all. He is still going every single hour day and night. This was a concern for the vet, and we are probably dealing with a problem in his colon. We still think it is something he has possibly picked up from foxes. Frasier has had a steroid injection and is now on a course of antibiotics. Hopefully this should clear up any problems π If no improvement by Monday, then it's back to the vets for further investigation πππ
